Waited a bit too long. But all 7 are now planted in a larger pot on the balcony so they can grow talked and give me more delicious shoots and maybe next year some garlic too.
All from a garlic I bought at farmers market. The rest I see for cooking.
I love this because the little ones are so hard to peal and eat, but they make great seeds for planting new ones. Which gives me leaves I use in soup or sandwich and some garlic for next year's food and planting.
The roots are so delicious and smell like fresh garlic too :)
