#Jurisdiction. Juris law, diction = words. The words you use determine the law you are under. #Common-law is written in a #common #language so that it is easily understood by the common #people.

#Legalese, referred to as "Words of art", is a language created in the bowels of #hell to #trap and #ensnare the #unsuspecting #individual into #contract-law. It is intentionally #difficult for the common individual to understand, with the words being used having meanings which are vastly different than in common usage. The #etymological #root #meaning of the words have not been changed in law, they cannot change without losing their ability to bind.

They have been #hidden from the common individual through the implementation of slang, the bastardization of common language, and the revision of common language dictionaries. The United States of #America (1986) was a case where the International #Court of #Justice (ICJ) held that the U.S. had violated international law by supporting the #Contras in their rebellion against the #Sandinistas and by mining Nicaragua’s harbors. The case was decided in favor of Nicaragua and against the United States with the awarding of reparations to Nicaragua.
