Snippet: Cave Spider Monster Trap - Minecraft
I found a cave spider spawner in Minecraft (1.19), today, and decided to take my best shot at making a monster trap around it, so I can get infinite string, spider eyes, and experience. Without following any form of guide or tutorial, I think it does pretty well! I now have more of the stuff than I could ever use :3
found a cave spider spawner while mining, going to make a nice mob trap around it so i can get infinite string, XP, and spider eye, going to be tricky to figure out a design given they're 1 block entities, but i will come up with something #gaming #minecraft

I will ask this question again in a different way, to perhaps get useful answers.
How do I play Minecraft and/or modify my client to make getting suddenly jumpscared by something in Minecraft less scary? I know there used to be modpacks to make the game viable to play only on Peaceful difficulty, but, I do enjoy the combat, when it’s not terrifying in the dark and suddenly loud, etc.
I've already lowered my volume as low as it can reasonably be to still be able to hear things to play, both in-game, and with a bash script keeping it consistent on my system. Any other tips you can think of?
