The drills involve 6,400 US troops, 1,100 Israeli troops and over 140 aircraft
A senior U.S. defense official said that the exercise is not oriented around a particular threat, but that regional adversaries like Iran will take notice.
It is of course in the frame Israel's right to defend itself.
Imagine if it was the Iranian army chief who said that! But it's Israel, so no problems at all. They have the right to "defend" themselves!

The director of #Israel’s spy agency #Mossad, David Barnea, said on 8 September that “Israel will not stand by while #Iran continues to defraud the world,” in the latest threat coming from Israeli officials against the possible revival of the Iran nuclear deal.
His words came after meeting in Washington with CIA Director William Burns, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and other top US security officials.
“The US will maintain its commitment to Israeli security … and will not allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon,” the Mossad chief went on to say, adding that he presented “sensitive intelligence” to the US officials in regards to Iran’s nuclear energy program.
Barnea had been in the US capital since 5 September, holding meetings with security officials in hopes of derailing Washington’s return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (#JCPOA).
His arrival to the #US came on the heels of similar trips by Defense Minister Benny #Gantz and National Security Council Chief Eyal Hulata.
On 6 September, interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid threatened Iran with Israel’s “long arm” during a speech delivered in front of an F-35 fighter jet.

This is truly upsetting that #Biden is acting like a puppet of Israel and plays the role of being their part in the negotiations with Iran.
Instead of returning to #JCPOA with the stroke of a pen, he has doubled down on #Trump's policy toward Iran and pushing further toward a military conflict, clearly showing when he sent B-52 bombers över the regions escorted by Israeli fighter jets.

Without #KSA's and #UAE's help Israel can not bomb #Iran using #F35s. With Iranian fighter jets located on #Hamedan and #Dezful, they will be able to intercept the Israeli fighter jets on their way out of Iran after the first bomb has exploded.
Even with the #stealth technology of F35s, it has to burn a massive amount of fuel to be able to leave Iranian airspace, which means in those minutes after the bombings, they will be highly vulnerable unless they can land/refuel over UAE or KSA's airspace, alternative landing there.
This mean both countries will be on the direct target list of Iran that will not hesitate to retaliate against the 2 countries and set the whole region on fire.
Iran's nuclear program is located on 17 different locations. Israel can not attack all of them, and an attack against the 2 main sites of #Natanz and #Fardow will just make #Khamenei to cancel his #Fatwa against #nuclear #bomb and resign from the #NPT and cut all ties with both the #UN and the #IAEA.
This is an absolute madness and an extremely dangerous and irresponsible act. Something that #Biden seems to have signed off and OKed with during his trip to the 2 countries. US bombing campaign in #Syria the other day, may be the starting step in the coming chain of action co-ordinated between US-Israel-KSA and UAE.
Lets hope they are not that stupid to actually do it.
