Iranian commander warns Tehran could review its 'nuclear doctrine' amid Israeli threats

"A review of our nuclear doctrine and politics as well as considerations previously communicated is entirely possible," Ahmad Haghtalab, the commander in charge of nuclear security, said according to semi-official Tasnim news agency

This is the freaking nightmare scenario that Netanyahu haa been working 24/7 to achieve.

The moment IRI decides to leave NPT and blocks the IAEA, the whole world go into an even crazier frenzy about it with Israel being the loudest, bit no one will ever mention that israel NEVER signed the #NPT. They refuse to allow IAEA inspectors in or declare how many nuclear weapons they have.

Bot to forget that Israel was caught by #IAEA helping the former south African government under apartheid regime which they volunteerly abandoned and destroyed, but no one did anything to punish the Israeli government.

IAEA chief: Previously removed mines at Zaporizhzhia power plant 'back in place'

The mines which were previously identified by the IAEA team and were removed in November 2023, "are now back in place" in a restricted area inaccessible to operational plant personnel, according to Grossi.

"The presence of mines is inconsistent with the IAEA safety standards," Grossi said.

The plant also lost its immediate back-up power supply to the reactor units for several hours this week, the monitoring mission reported, in the latest incident underlining "persistent nuclear safety and security risks" at the site. The back-up power supply was reportedly restored eight hours later when two other back-up power electrical transformers were put into operation.

#IAEA: "Iran has informed agency of its decision to withdraw the designation of several experienced agency inspectors".

“This profoundly regrettable decision by Iran is another step in the wrong direction”.

This came a day after US imposed #sanctions against 25 individuals and 4 news agencies of #IRI regime.

There are no reports of it having anything to do with the actions taken by Iran, but the timing is surely strange.

This will definitely have an impact on the rumored plans for #US and Iran signing the new #JCPOA with support of European nations, #China and #Russia.

Iranian sources say that Macron demanded that Iran stops sending unmanned planes to Russia or face consequences.

He also demanded that Iran immediately stops working on new enrichment sites and open up fully with #IAEA and the #UN.

Iran's president responded that Iran has never sent anything to Russia since start of the war and it has all the rights to enrich uranium up to 60% and the country has no obligation to stay on the JCPOA since Trump unilaterally cancelled the multi national agreement.

Reisi also pointed out that Iran stayed in #JCPOA over a year after Trump's exit and watched Europe and specially France had followed #Trump and imposed #sanctions on Iran.

Times of Israel: After IAEA closes uranium probes, Israel says it bowed to Iranian pressure

— "Israel fumed Thursday over a decision by the UN’s atomic watchdog to close an investigation into an Iranian site where secret nuclear activity was suspected, accusing the monitor of caving to pressure from Tehran.

The move by the International Atomic Energy Agency to conclude the probe into traces of man-made uranium found at Marivan, some 525 kilometers (325 miles) southeast of Tehran, “could have extremely dangerous consequences,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lior Haiat said.

“The explanations provided by Iran for the presence of nuclear material at the site are not reliable or technically possible,” Haiat said. “Iran continues to lie to the IAEA and deceive the international community.”"

IAEA Chief: Situation at Zaporizhzhia NP Plant Dangerous

On Tuesday, the chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) cautioned that the nuclear safety and security status at the #Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant situated in Ukraine is extremely fragile and dangerous.

"Military activities continue in the region and may well increase very considerably in the near future," #IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said in a UN Security Council briefing.

Axios, on the authority of an Israeli official: The State of Israel has informed Washington and Western countries of its intention to conduct military strikes against Iran if it enriches uranium above the level of 60%

There has been no proven record of Iran enrichment above 60%, but the media and the warmongers in Israel keep repeating it, even though the "news" that was reported of "traces of uranium enriched at 64.5% were found in a location in Iran" based on unnamed "sources" and denied both bu IAEA and UN sources.

All of these could have been avoided if the coward #Bidsn had reversed the decision of Trump to unilaterally leave JCPOA and put Iran under strong scrutiny of IAEA and EU observers.

But sadly, no one even talking about it any more just listening to the accusations of Israeli war mkngers and the war profiteers in US and UK.
