Hamas is not a terrorist organization. Hamas is an organization of governance that was empowered by democratic election by the Palestinians of Gaza to represent them, and then was tried to be destroyed by the Palestinian Authority and Israel in a civil war which they won. They earned the right with their blood to govern Gaza, and they've been doing so ever since. And if you are the governing authority and your people are being oppressed by a occupying power you have an inherent duty and responsibility to do whatever you can to liberate them, to free them. What's happening today in Gaza is a war of Palestinian Liberation, end of story.
