Independent sources have verified that Russian forces are pushing forward on 4 fronts against Ukraine military, and ukraine sources (without mentioning territorial losses) claim that Russia have lost significant number of troops in several locations.
The Russian military blogger have shared what they say is the successful positioning and destruction of 2 UA provided Patriot launching units, something that the Ukrainians claim were fake traps and not real.
Judging by the videos, at least one of the shown targets were fully loaded and the massive explosion after the hit by a lancet drone would prove that it wasn't fake.
The new military leadership of Ukraine seems to be focusing on long term plans of cripple the Russian strategic supply lines and fuel depot rather than engaging directly with Russians at the moment.
Aa always, it's hard and almost impossible to find impartial reporting about this bloody war and it looks like we are going to see it drag for months, if not years more.
Ukraine forces deny the reports but claim that the Russian attacks have been "extremely costly" and American provided Abrams tanks have destroyed multiple Russian MBTand APCs.
The Russians on the other hand claim that several Abrams tanks were destroyed by the artillery and lancet drones.
This bloody war is escalating and becoming more deadly on both sides.
The first video shows the €330 million A-50U desperately trying to evade the attacks and firing from heat traps, but still being overtaken by anti-aircraft missiles. Other videos show burning wreckage.
Ukrainian military intelligence claims to be behind the downing. As the plane was shot down in Trudovaya Armenia (Krasnodar region) more than 220 km behind the front line, and is therefore outside the range of Patriot, it can be assumed that it was Russian shelling.
There are also current reports of an Il-22 allegedly being shot down, a situation similar to that on 15 January.
PS. This is a major loss for Russia as it is one of the few functioning AWACS they had since Soviet time and never designed or built new ones since 1990s.

The VERA-NG system can observe and identify air, sea and ground targets. It consists of three stations with 360° azimuth coverage and a command post with its own station that processes information from the other stations. The calculations are transmitted to the air defense systems.
The combatants are seemingly armed with a CZ 806 BREN-2 rifle (supplied by #CzechRepublic / #Czechia ) and a Sig Sauer SIG516 rifle.

Russia is pushing for rapid advancement in the area close to #Avdiivka facing little to no resistance (according to Russian sources).
The shocking videos and images of abandoned soldiers and dead bodies are a sad reminder of the low value of life of ordinary soldiers for the military leaders.
This meaningless war has to end. It's time to push for peace negotiations and way to end this Maas slaughter of men on both sides for the sake of ego of rheie leaders.

This simple and rather deadly device is said to have been used by the Ukrainians in their fight against Russian positions as well as APCs.
I am not sure how useful they are and how they can even reach their targets as the weight of the RPG is significantly heavier than what a small engine like the one in the image can carry, much less accurately reach the target, not to forget that standard RPGs require a high velocity impact in order to detonate.
But it seems to be working!

If it was a case of Ukrainian fire, then at a distance of around 180 km S-200, S-300 (with Russian missiles) or MIM-104 Patriot with PAC-2 would be possible. However, all of these systems would then have to be located very close to the front - which would be risky.
Russia only has up to 8 of these €300 million aircraft, which are used to coordinate air combat, missile attacks and the suppression of Ukrainian air defenses. A video is supposed to show the last flight of this machine.
