🔹In #Kherson Direction, without changes, an AFU boats were sunk again during an attempt to land on the left bank.

🔹In #Zaporozhye Direction, our forces are heavily fighting for #Rabotino, both sides are digging into the positions. So far it is known that ours in fierce fighting have reached the geographical outskirts of the village from the west, south and southeast. The AFU positions are already being attacked from three sides. Advancement is also recorded near #Verbovoye.

🔹In #SouthDonetsk Direction, our units are advancing west of #Staromayorskoye and in the area of #Prechistovka. Our Artillery thwarted AFU attempts to rotate their forward positions.

🔹In #Avdeyevka Direction, our sappers report that the mining in the city is dense, there are many traps. They are not surprised to meet a lot of #NATO weapons. Meanwhile, our forces are attacking #Lastochkino, where the enemy's presence remains. The AFU's aim is to gain time to consolidate on the main defensive line. At #Nevelskoye, our troops advanced about 1 more km.

🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, our army is approaching the outskirts of #Ivanovskoye (#Krasnoye) with a broad front from #Khromovo to #Chernobylts. The half-encirclement of the AFU in the village looms. And our military has already gained a foothold in its northeastern outskirts. Our Aerospace Forces, artillery and drone pilots continue to very methodically hit any AFU targets in the direction of .Chasov Yar up to pickups.

🔹In #Svatovo Direction, on the #Seversk front, our forces pushed the AFU back about 1 km on the approaches to #Vasyukovka and gained a foothold in the landing. In the #Liman sector, the further advance on #Terny is not easy. In #Kupyansk sector, after the liberation of #Krakhmalnoye and #Tabayevka, there has been no progress for some time. Meanwhile, our artillery is active. The reason that Zelensky is near #Kupyansk today is the high risk of activation of attacks from our army. Poor training, coordination likely limiting Russia’s offensive capabilities in Kherson Oblast

Poor training and coordination of Russian troops stationed on the east bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast likely prevent them from dislodging Ukrainian forces from the area, the U.K. Defense Ministry reported on Jan. 20.

After a series of military operations on the Dnipro River’s east bank, held by Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian forces established footholds in the area, continuing to repel Russian attacks despite logistical challenges.

Russia hits third humanitarian aid base in Kherson in 5 days

Russian forces struck a third humanitarian aid center in #Kherson within five days, the head of the emergency response unit for the Ukrainian #RedCross in Kherson Oblast Mykola Taranenko said in a comment to Hromadske radio on Dec. 25.

Taranenko also referenced the overnight Russian strike on Dec. 20, which "completely destoryed" the humanitarian aid facility ran by the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kherson Oblast and its resources inside.

"They [Russian forces] targeted the storage facilities of other organizations twice, but very recently they hit our humanitarian aid facility, the Red Cross facility," said Taranenko.

After the AFU made a rapid breakthrough towards Krynki, Russian troops counterattacked with the support of artillery and aviation. They were successful in squeezing the AFU out of a significant part of the positions in the village.

▪️ Despite this, the enemy still maintains a presence, but the Russian Armed Forces have managed to clear several landings, effectively pushing the AFU to the shore.

▪️ However, during the night, the command of the Katran strike group transferred additional units to the islands of Melky and Frolov. They were covered by mortar crews from the 35th infantry regiment.

🔻Additionally, four assault groups from the 88th battalion of the 35th infantry brigade of the Ukrainian Navy were transported from Nikolskoye to the northeastern part of Aleshkinsky Island. There, they dispersed and set up observation posts.

▪️ Another advance group from the 36th brigade arrived at the railway bridge. Together with the forces of the 35th Infantry Brigade to the east, they are planning another attempt to break through to Peschanivka and Podstepnoye.

❗️It seems that despite their losses, the enemy plans to continue pushing through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces on the left bank. Based on the activity of the Marines in both the Krynok sector and at Peschanivka, it is likely that they are coordinating their attack to capture a larger settlement, such as Radensk.

Russian Ministry of Defence: On 25 September, an air-launched cruise missile carried out a precision strike on a joint arms and ammunition depot of the Ukrainian armed forces near the village of #Kiselevka in the #Kherson region. As a result of the strike and subsequent detonation, 12 hangars containing more than three thousand tonnes of ammunition of various calibres were destroyed.

That sounds a lot but it's Russian source so it's over estimated a lot. But watching the video, it looked like a pretty big explosion (after impact).

North Korea could supply 10 million shells and other important equipments to Russia

The North Korean army has around 21,000 artillery pieces in its arsenal, although a significant portion (around 10,000) are shorter-range mortars.

If we focus on the larger calibers, particularly the 152mm and 122mm, the number would be approximately 8,500 pieces.

Following the N.K doctrine influenced by the Soviet Union, each artillery piece is expected to have a 45-day firing capacity. Assuming a conservative estimate of 75 daily firings per unit, the DPKR would possess a stockpile of 27 million 122mm/152mm shells.

In this context, it would be feasible for North Korea to sell 10 million shells to Russia without encountering significant difficulties.

While some of the ammunition may be old, it is not substantially different from the #Soviet stockpile that Russia utilized for several months last year.

Moreover, North Korea possesses another valuable asset that Russia needs: the PT-76/85 amphibious tank. This tank would be ideal for Russia's potential assault on the Kherson river bank from the occupied Isles. Recently, Russia has announced tests with the old Pat-S project, an amphibious artillery system with a 152mm caliber. The demand was exactly due this kind of challenge on #Kherson.

North Korea also operates a few thousand MLRS of various calibers, including 122mm, 200mm, and 240mm and 300mm.

It is highly probable that North Korea's support also includes MLRS systems like the KN-09, which can reach distances of 180-200km and deploy guided rockets.

In terms of rocket supply, it is difficult to determine an exact N.K stockpile.

However, North Korea has approximately 3.5 million people working in various industries, with a significant portion employed in nearly 200 arms factories. The defense industry holds great importance in the country, as with any communist nation. Given North Korea's state of war for over 60 years, it is reasonable to assume they have a substantial stockpile of various types of #ammunition.

We can't ignore that a deal between #Russia and #NorthKorea, has the potential to significantly influence the outcome of the #war.

Russian use of pontoon bridges indicates logistical bottlenecks

As of mid-August, the use of pontoon bridges indicate that Russian forces occupying Crimea and Kherson Oblast face logistical issues, weeks after Ukrainian attacks on the bridges that link the two occupied regions, the U.K. Defense Ministry said on Aug. 23.

On Aug. 6, the Ukrainian military confirmed striking the strategically important Chonhar and Henichesk bridges, which connect northern Crimea with Kherson Oblast.

A big purge in power has begun in #Ukraine: the heads of #Dnepropetrovsk, #Sumy, the occupied parts of #Zaporozhye and #Kherson regions resigned

#Zelensky's new decrees:
- Prohibited officials from traveling abroad for a "non-state purpose" (for example, on vacation). This also applies to security officials, prosecutors and everyone who should work for the state;
- There are personnel decisions - some today, some will be tomorrow - regarding managers of various levels in ministries and other structures of the central government and in the regions and in the law enforcement system.

Something must have happened in the meeting with NATO officials during the weekend, a lot of changes happening on government and military tops of Ukraine since then.
