The Bizarre Humanoid Statues of Marquesas Islands and the Pacific Belt: Ancient Aliens or Subterrestrial Beings?

Marquesas Islands. The name itself evokes a palpable sense of mystery and adventure. It is a group of remote volcanic islands in French Polynesia, in the southern Pacific Ocean. The largest island in the group is Nuku Hiva, where the administrative center is located. Like most other islands of Polynesia, Marquesas Islands are characterized by steep mountains and dense forests, which extend all the way to the bay. Hidden within these jungles are hundreds of mysterious, surreal, stone sculptures called “tiki”, whose real significance still eludes us. The majority of these sculptures are located on the island called Hiva Oa, followed by Nuku Hiva. The tiki were carved from red volcanic tuff, while a few were made from basaltic rock.

Many have speculated what the tiki might represent, but none of the interpretations account for all of the weirdness associated with these sculptures. In Polynesian mythology, Tiki is the first man created, while in a variation of the legend, Tiki, as a son of the primeval gods Rangi and Papa, created the first human by mixing his own blood with clay. But the sculptures do not represent this mythological god called Tiki, for even though the carvings are stylistically similar, there are many variations between them, which indicate that the tikis represent different “humanoid” beings, and not a specific person or deity. Moreover, many tikis are found in groups, and roughly 10% of all the tiki sculptures appear to be those of females. So, obviously something else is going on.

Another idea that has been proposed is that these sculptures could be those of deified ancestors. This seems very unlikely as well, for these statues bear no resemblance to the native people of Marquesas Islands. Why on earth would the Te Enana - as the Marquesan people wish to be called – depict their ancestors in such a bizarre manner, with hideously large bug eyes, flat wide nose, wide grinning mouth, both hands placed on a protruding tummy, and a short, stubby body which is often shown in a half-squatting position? This is not the manner in which any culture would respect the memory of their forefathers.

So, what do the tiki really represent? Let’s take a closer at some of their physical characteristics and try to figure out what might have been going on in these isolated Pacific islands in the ancient times. For the record, nearly 90% of the natives of Marquesas Islands have converted to Christianity, and do not remember anything about the religious beliefs and customs of their ancestors. Some of them vaguely recollect that the tikis used to have specific names and associated legends, but very little beyond that.

During the Marquesan Rock Art Project, from 1984 to 1989, eighty-four tikis were documented across the island chain, and many more have been found since then. Numerous tiki sculptures have ended up in public museums and private collections across the world, over the past few centuries. This means literally hundreds of these sculptures had been made by the Marquesan people starting from at least 1400 CE, if not much earlier. Sidsel Millerstrom of the University of California, Berkeley, who was the chief archaeologist in the Marquesan Rock Art Project, published a paper[1] in the Encyclopaedia of Historiography, outlining the findings of their study. I have sourced most of my information about the tikis from this informative paper.

The tikis were generally placed on open-air shrines called me’ae. The early explorers wrote that, during certain ceremonies, the tiki was girdled in tapa or bark clothes and offerings of food were placed in front of the statue. Millerstrom noted that the tiki’s head is oversized - typically one third or more of the body’s height - and it rests on square shoulders, without a distinct neck.  The team also found that, “the majority of the statues measure between 50 cm (20 inches) and 100 cm (39 inches),” although there are a few that are nearly 6 feet high. Considering that the tikis were deified and venerated by the Marquesan natives, one wonders why most of them were built as dwarf entities, ranging in height between 1 ½ feet to 3 ½ feet. Could it be that these mysterious beings were actually dwarfs with magical powers, who interacted with the natives in the past?

Most of the tiki are depicted with a hat or a tight-fitting helmet. They have distinct, high-arched eyebrows, and round, large, bulging eyes, which are encircled by a 1 and 1/2 cm wide raised rim. When I looked carefully at these sculptures, I realized that the “raised rim” around the bulging eyes represents the rim or frame of the tiki’s eyeglasses or goggles! Take a closer look. You can distinctly see that the two lenses are connected to each other by a bridge, which goes over the nose. Moreover, in a side-view of some of the tikis you can see the stem of the eyeglasses connecting the lenses to the ears. In some sculptures, one can make out the outline of a circular pupil in the center of the bulging eyes. The tikis generally have a wide, flat, nose and a long mouth which often has a grin.

In summary, the tikis appear to be sculptures of mysterious, dwarf, humanoid beings with oversized heads and big, round, bulging eyes, who are typically dressed in a hat or a tight-fitting helmet, and they wear large, round, goggles. Does this description ring a bell? Where have we come across reports of similar humanoid beings?

Those who are familiar with the UFO phenomenon would be aware that most of the early sightings reported dwarf humanoid beings, dressed in a tight-fitting glossy suit, and wearing a helmet and goggles. The earliest incident involving the “little green men” with bulbous heads and oversized eyes was reported on the night of August 21, 1955, by an extended farm family called the Suttons at the Hopkinsville police station in Kentucky. The Suttons had not only seen a UFO land, but had close interactions with a number of small, humanoid creatures who were impervious to bullets. The first one they encountered was:

“About three-and-a-half feet tall, it had an “oversized head…almost perfectly round, [it’s] arms extended almost to the ground, [it’s] hands had talons…and [it’s oversized] eyes glowed with a yellowish light.” The body gave off an eerie shimmer in the light of the night’s new moon, they said—as if made of “silver metal.”[2]

Descriptions of similar humanoid beings in connection with UFO sightings have come in from all over the world. During the UFO wave in Italy, dozens of dwarf humanoids were reported from all over the country. In one of the well-documented cases, which was researched by Dr. Roberto Pinotti and published in the Flying Saucer Review magazine in 1979, [3] a Mr. Faralli saw a UFO land in front of his car, from which two dwarf, humanoid beings emerged and floated a few centimeters above the ground.

“They were about 1.00 to 1.10 meters (3.3 – 3.6 feet) in height. They wore green “coveralls”…big helmets, and a part of these helmets was transparent. The fronts of the helmets had what seemed to be two slender cylindrical protuberances like springs, or similar helical structures. The creatures’ skin seemed also to be green, and while their faces were to a degree human-like, they were lean with bony, arched cheeks, regular noses and thin lipless mouths. Mr. Faralli could not see their eyes and ears as they were hidden in a shaded zone.”

In the book, Sky People: Untold Stories Of Alien Encounters in Mesoamerica, the author Ardy Sixkiller Clarke documented her interactions with many people from Mesoamerica who reported alien sightings. A Yucatec Maya waitress called Maria reported seeing six dwarf humanoid beings inside a forest. “They wore glowing uniforms and their heads were too big for their bodies,” she told Ardy. In a village close to Uxmal, Ardy had interacted with a Maya elder named Choc who reported interacting with two humanoid beings. “They were short and wore strange suits. They were skin-tight and bright and glossy,” Choc told her. But he could not see any mouth or ears. “Their heads were covered. They covered their eyes with strange, round, black goggles.”

It is apparent from these descriptions that the tikis of Marquesas Islands bear a strong resemblance to the dwarf humanoid beings reported in numerous UFO sightings. The small body structures, oversized heads, large eyes, helmets and goggles – all of them match up. Moreover, it was only the head of the tiki that was intricately carved with a lot of detail, while the rest of the body was only roughly outlined. This could be because these humanoid beings used to dress in body-suits, which did not permit the Marquesan people to get a good look at the rest of their body.

There is a very good chance that the tikis, which the people of Marquesas Islands, and the Polynesian islands in general, used to venerate, were non-human “alien” beings, who visited the Marquesan people centuries ago. They may have arrived in their UFOs, or simply transformed into “orbs” of light and floated through the sky. As per some UFO reports, people have seen a dwarf humanoid being transform into an orb of light, or emerge out of a ball of light. One of the tiki sculptures in Hiva Ova is called the “Flying Tiki”, and it shows a tiki in a horizontal position, suspended on a rock, as if it is flying. There shouldn’t have been any reason for the Marquesan people to carve a statue like this unless they actually saw a tiki flying through the air.

Why did the Marquesans worship these otherworldly visitors? What kind of gifts did they bring to the people which made them worship these weird-looking beings, who were roughly half the size of the native people? It seems that the tikis were regarded by the Marquesans and the people of the Polynesian islands as the protectors of sacred places who kept away evil influences from entering sanctuaries, individual houses and villages. This is the reason why so many of these humanoid sculptures were made by the people. Tikis figures and faces were also carved on a variety of tools and implements used in day-to-day life such as ornaments, bowls, food pounders, canoe prows, paddles, ridge poles etc. People wore tiki amulets to ward off the evil eye. This may be why the tikis were depicted in an odd squatting position, with both their hands placed on their protruding stomach. No-one really knows what this posture signifies. Obviously, the tiki wasn’t trying to say, “I am hungry,” or, “My stomach hurts.” That’s just plain silly! The posture probably signified protection, almost as if the tiki was ready to unleash its magical powers on anyone who violated the rules.

The other important reason for which people of the Polynesian islands prayed to the tikis was for fertility. Infertile men and women prayed to the tikis for children and wore tiki amulets, while farmers offered them food and worship in order to ensure plentiful harvests. This is possibly the reason why many tikis were shown with prominent male genitals, indicating their role as fertility gods.
A particular tradition of the Cook Islands gives us an indication as to the place of origin of the tikis.

“At Rarotonga, Tiki is the guardian of the entrance to Avaiki, the underworld. Offerings were made to him as gifts for the departing soul of someone who is dying…The entrance to Avaiki (the underworld) is called ‘the chasm of Tiki.”[4]

This raises some interesting possibilities. If the tiki guards the entrance to the underworld, then it is likely the tikis themselves live somewhere under the earth’s surface, inside vast subterranean grottoes and chambers. And if the tiki receives offering for the departing soul, then, perhaps, it also functions as a psychopomp who guides the soul of the deceased to the underworld. The role of the psychopomp in many cultures is generally performed by the “faerie folk”, comprising the elves, fairies, dwarfs and other magical beings. Which means, the tikis are most likely the dwarfs, gnomes, leprechauns, yakshas etc. of ancient folktales and legends, who were described as a skillful, clairvoyant race that lived in underground chambers of great opulence.

In other words, these bizarre, humanoid beings who used to interact with the ancient inhabitants of Marquesas Islands may not be extraterrestrial beings who arrived here from outer space, but dwarf subterrestrials, who emerged from a hidden location under the earth’s surface, which can be reached through carefully guarded caves and tunnels.

This is plausible, for the dwarfs of the Mayan civilization were also associated with protection and fertility, and served as psychopomps, as I had discussed in an earlier article. A number of ceramic figurines of dwarfs were found in elite burials on the Jaina Island, in Yucatan’s Gulf coast. Since the Maya dwarfs lived underground, and were believed to guard the entrance to Xibalba – the Maya underworld – these figurines probably signified their role as psychopomps. The farmers of rural Yucatan refer to the dwarfs as aluxes (ah-loosh-es), and even to this day, they make offerings of food to the aluxes so that they protect the cornfields from animals and thieves at night. There is a deeply held belief that the aluxes protect the tombs in the ancient Maya ruins from pillage and looting. The guards at the archaeological sites claim that the aluxes can summon strong winds, emit piercing whistling sounds, propel stones at intruders, and even call their dogs to chase looters or miscreants away.

Apparently, the same dwarf humanoid beings had interacted with the Maya and the Marquesans in the past, and today we have come to know them as the “little green men” of UFO sightings. There are a few other places on either side of the Pacific where we can see strange humanoid sculptures that look strikingly similar to the tikis of Marquesas Islands. These artifacts have always caused a great deal of bewilderment to archaeologists and amateurs alike. But they can be understood in the context of what we have discussed about the tikis.

The Jeju Island off the southern tip of South Korea has dozens of strange, humanoid statues which are popularly referred to as “dol hareubang” – a Korean term coined in the mid-20th century meaning, “stone grandfather”. Jeju Island is a volcanic island and the statues have been mostly carved from porous basalt. It is not clear when the construction of these sculptures started, or if it was influenced by migrants from the Polynesian island chain. What is really striking about them is how closely they correspond to the tikis of Marquesas Islands.

The dol hareubangs wear a distinctive hat or helmet, have large bulging eyes without the pupils marked out, a broad flat nose, and a thin, wide mouth with a grin or a look of disapproval. They lack a distinct neck, and their hands are inevitably placed on their stomach, one above the other. Like the tiki, the facial features of the dol hareubangs are intricately carved, but the rest of the body lacks any detail. The structural similarities to the tikis are easily perceptible and leave little doubt that these sculptures represent the same kind of otherworldly entities as the tikis.

The connections to the tikis are further emphasized by the fact that the dol hareubangs have been traditionally considered as the gods of protection and fertility. As per Wikipedia:

“They are considered to be gods offering both protection and fertility and were placed outside of gates for protection against demons travelling between realities...Dol hareubangs produced from 1763 to 1765 once stood outside the eastern, western, and southern gates of the Jeju City fortress as guardian deities...The statues are sometimes sold as sources of fertility, and small replicas are sometimes given to women with fertility problems.”[5]

Dol hareubang statues were sometimes placed in pairs outside villages and public spaces, and in some places rows of dol hareubangs were erected, to give the impression of an army of protective spirits watching over the area. It is hard to miss the conspicuous similarity between a row of dol hareubangs and the enigmatic “moai” statues of the Easter Islands or Rapa Nui, most of which were set up in a long line along the island’s coastline.

Like the tikis of Marquesas Islands, the moai were carved from volcanic tuff (solidified ash) and were placed on ceremonial stone platforms called “ahu” that were set up along the island’s perimeter. The moai face inland towards the villages and settlements of the Rapa Nui people, as if to watch over them as their protector. Jacob Roggeveen, the first European visitor to the Easter Island in 1772, had noted in his ship log that the natives prayed to these gods.

“The people had, to judge by appearances, no weapons; although, as I remarked, they relied in case of need on their gods or idols which stand erected all along the sea shore in great numbers, before which they fall down and invoke them. These idols were all hewn out of stone, and in the form of a man, with long ears, adorned on the head with a crown, yet all made with skill: whereat we wondered not a little. A clear space was reserved round these objects of worship by laying stones to a distance of twenty or thirty paces.”[6]

Even though the moai are much bigger than the tikis – the average height of these colossal statues being around 13 feet, with the tallest one at a mindboggling 33 feet – their characteristics match those of the tikis and the dol hareubangs to a large extent. The moai have an oversized head compared to their body, and, while the head is very intricately carved, the rest of the body lacks any kind of detail. Their hands are placed just below the stomach, along the crests of the hips, meeting at the loincloth, which may have been a posture that signified protection or fertility.

Earlier, most of the moai were crowned with a hat called “pukao”, but they had fallen down and disintegrated when the statues had overturned. The pukao were made from light-red volcanic scoria, and weighed upto 10 tons! The shape of the hats is similar to those seen on the dol hareubangs. The moai also have deep, oval, eye sockets carved into their faces, and recent discoveries indicate that these eye sockets used to be filled with coral eyes, with a pupil made of red scoria. The eyes were probably removable, and were attached during special ceremonies. The long, broad and flat nose of the moai, and their thin, pouting lips, are not very different from the tikis or the dol hareubangs.

Overall, the moai of the Easter Islands appear to belong to the same category of subterrestrial dwafs that were venerated on the Juju Island of South Korea and Marquesas Islands. Although the moai are much bigger in size than the tikis or dol hareubangs, it does not detract from our argument, for humans have an innate tendency to build oversized sculptures of their kings and gods.

Incidentally, all the three places that we just discussed are volcanic islands. What’s the deal here? Why do the dwarf subterrestrial beings prefer to hang around on volcanic islands? Could it be that their subterranean abodes are easily accessible through the vents and tunnels present within a volcanic caldera? The truth may not be far from this, for I noticed something unusual about the placement of moai statues that lends credence to this idea.

On the Easter Islands, Rano Raraku is a volcanic crater which provided the stones (volcanic tuff) from which nearly 95% of the moai were carved. The interior of the crater contains one of the island's three freshwater crater lakes. The quarry at Rano Raraku has a number of incomplete statues, of which one is nearly 71 feet in height - almost twice the size of any moai ever completed. What is perhaps most intriguing is that, outside the quarry, scattered along the slopes of the crater, are a large number of moai which are buried up to their shoulders. The statues must have been intentionally buried since the intricate carvings on the body of these statues have not eroded. These moai did not have the pukao (i.e. the distinctive hat), and their eye sockets were not hollowed out, which means they were not objects of worship or veneration by the islanders.

The question is, why were such a large number of moai painstakingly carved and intentionally buried along the slopes of the crater? What purpose did they serve?

My surmise is that this volcanic crater may have been the place from where the subterrestrial dwarfs used to emerge in their UFOs, or in the form of brilliant orbs of light. As such this crater may have been regarded as a very sacred placed, and as the “abode of the gods”. The moai were carved and buried along the slopes to act as protectors of this sacred place, so that the natives do not attempt to climb the crater or desecrate the area in any way. This would also explain why these moai lacked the pukao and the eye sockets, for these moai were not meant to be worshiped by the villagers unlike the ones that were erected on the ahu i.e. ceremonial platforms along the coast.
Let us now take a quick look at a couple of sites in South America where similar kinds of statues can be seen, before I wrap up this analysis.

At the Kalasasaya Temple in the archaeological site of Tiwanaku (or Tiahuanaco), Bolivia, a number of freestanding carved stone figures were found, which look very similar to the moai, tikis and dol hareubangs. All the monoliths depict humanoid figures wearing a distinctive hat, with large, square eyes resembling goggles. Their hands are placed on their stomach, and they are holding some implements. It is quite likely that these large monoliths were acting as the protectors of the sacred site. Not much else is known about these figures, since the people living in that region have no recollection of the beliefs and customs of their ancestors.

A couple of thousand miles to the north of Bolivia is the San Agustin Archaeological Park, located in a mountainous region of southern Colombia. It is one of the largest pre-historic necropolis of the world. Hundreds of monolithic dwarf statues have been found here which were carved from volcanic tuff. Some of the statues are quite big though, up to 12 feet high, and weigh several tons. The statues are generally placed at the entrances of tombs, acting as tomb protectors.

These dwarf figures are very similar to the other statues across the Pacific belt, having distinctive hats, large round or oval eyes, a wide flat nose, and long thin lips with clearly visible canines in some cases. Their hands are placed on their stomach in the customary style, and in some cases they hold scythes or ritual implements. Clearly, the same artistic ideas have been incorporated into the religious and sacred monuments of widely dispersed cultures on either side of the Pacific Ocean. Similar sculptures can also be seen elsewhere in the world, but that discussion will be for some other time.

The typical explanation offered by mainstream archaeologists for the bizarre statues of the Pacific Islands is that they represent deified ancestors or former chieftains, which, of course, makes no sense, for neither do these outlandish sculptures bear any resemblance to the native people of the respective cultures, nor do they account for the magical powers of protection and fertility – amongst many others - said to be possessed by these beings. I have noticed that “deified ancestors” is the favorite go-to solution for mainstream archaeologists whenever they come across unusual sculptures about which they have no clue. Their attitude, of course, is understandable, for they cannot afford to take the ancient legends and beliefs of the local people seriously – no matter how plausible they might be – for fear of ridicule, or even retaliatory actions, by their colleagues.

Those of us who are not in search of academic brownie points, however, are not tied down by dogma and other constraints, and have the liberty of exploring alternate possibilities. My analysis of these sculptures suggests that they bear strong resemblances to the “little green men” of UFO sightings, as well as the dwarfs of ancient folklore who possessed various supernatural abilities, and were said to have a beneficent attitude towards humans in the past. At some point, these contacts may have ceased, and the dwarfs and other magical beings turned into the stuff of myths and legends.

It could even be possible that the exceptional ability of the ancient people of these remote Pacific islands to carve these remarkable statues and other artifacts was acquired from these magical dwarf gods, who were said to be very proficient in stone and metal work. Sir Eric J. Thompson had written in his book Maya History and Religion (1970) that the Maya dwarfs were said to have built the ancient Mayan cities, and they “had magical powers and needed only to whistle to bring together stones in their correct positions in buildings.”[7] Extending this argument to the Easter Islands we could argue that, perhaps, the subterrestrial dwarfs used their magical powers to lift and put the colossal moai statues on the ahu i.e. ceremonial platforms . For a long time, scientists have been scratching their heads over how these statues were transported, while the oral history of the Rapa Nui people tells us that the statues were commanded to “walk” to their positions by some divine power. Perhaps the oral histories are correct, and some otherwordly dwarf visitors, who are now associated with the UFO phenomenon, had interacted with various ancient cultures, and came to be venerated by the people as their gods.

Mary Trump says “This Time Feels Different” She’s Right It Is

Mary Trump has one attribute that the rest of us have, but she has it in spades: She’s seen Donald Trump get away with his evil her entire life. The rest of us, with the exceptions of New Yorkers who read the tabloids, have only been getting the Trump Treatment for the past seven years or so.

TrumpVirus Gazette…

Here’s my cumulative take-away, thin-sliced from watching Fani Willis, seeing some various summaries across networks, and ending with some perspective from Neal Katyal (lawyer, former impeachment manager, solicitor general, & author of several key policies)…

I have been picturing the GA-style RICO model as more of a wheel, with points around it connecting like spokes to anyone else, not so much the Federal RICO top-down pyramid. It’s important because for RICO charges you need to be connected to at least two different ‘racketeering acts’. If you’re a lower-level actor, say acting on direction to do one thing in the scheme, you might be an important witness who would be wise to flip, rather than be charged for two acts. Etc. (Katyal also noted this added incentive to ‘flip’).

So… Donald J #Trump was named 193 times in the first indictment; all roads lead to him.
(Why did you do this one crime? Because President Trump/Mr. Giuliani told me to!)

Clarification on the punishment, pardons, jail time etc. - As Fani Williis explained succinctly, in a brief Q&A, under GA law, jail is mandatory for this crime. It cannot be pardoned by the governor. They can seek pardon/parole - after 5 years. In Georgia, but the parole board is not allowed to review appeals for parole until after 5 years is served. So… jail if convicted.

One of the very detailed conspiratorial meetings was apparently between #Giuliani & Sidney Powell. Plus un-named co-conspirator twenty-something. Katyal noted that Giuliani gave a statement following the indictment, calling it an “affront to democracy” and blaming the justice efforts for being the real ‘criminals’. He (Katyal) bemoaned how Rudy showed no hint of contrition. (Surprise?)

A panelist asked if getting Rudy to flip was a possibility, or if not how central he is to the whole case. No, said Katyal, ‘he’s not critical; he’s just gravy’.

In summary/conclusion Katyal said that in his mind, 'the significance of the case ’ is… “the law catching up with Donald Trump”.

Can we even imagine a time without dog-whistles of racism & hate, name-calling and vilification, #disinformation & lie after lie, all while grifting and stirring up passion for his alternative cult of #TrumpVirus? Stop the rampant 'one man crime spree', and give the Devil his due - some big beautiful walls.

From America's Front Line Doctors

Lie #1: The Virus was Not Engineered
Early in the “pandemic,” scientists were aware—as almost any molecular biologist would know—that this virus could not have “jumped” naturally from bats to humans. However, the government and media ignored the published science in favor of the narrative that a “spontaneous mutation” made a virus leap from bats to humans in one fell swoop.
Lie #2: Masks are Safe and Effective
The government pushed masking and claimed it prevented viral transmission. Viruses are too small to be stopped by masks. If anything, mask-wearing increases the viral load in people because the mask causes people to constantly rebreathe the virus once they are exposed to it. Thus, mask-wearing in public would be expected to make things worse, not better.
Lie #3: The “Vaccine” Prevents Transmission
The pharmaceutical companies and government public health officials knew from the very beginning that COVID-19 “vaccines” were never designed to prevent transmission of this virus. In fact, the vaccinated were found to have a higher viral load in their nose and throat than the unvaccinated. This is, of course, criminal because they mandated these pharma products for people to retain their jobs.
Lie #4: The Covid-19 Injection is Safe and Effective
These “vaccines” are not effective. They are dangerous. The increasing rates of stroke, embolism and heart attacks from vaccine-induced clots are alarming. In fact, the number of adverse events, including death, has been higher for COVID-19 “vaccines” than for all other vaccines combined over the totality of their collective history.
Lie #5: Children Need to be Vaccinated Against Covid-19
It was always a complete lie that kids needed to be “vaccinated.” Even though the COVID death rate in children is essentially zero, some places are mandating it for school. It appears the goal was to get children on the CDC’s Childhood Vaccination Schedule so Big Pharma could maintain immunity from liability.

Is this Theft? BANKS won't give us our money
campaign image

Two years ago, BitChute became the target of an activist group that attempted to shut us down by pressuring our suppliers. As a result, we lost some server hosting, our office space, and other suppliers. We also lost our bank account with HSBC. A bank account we had held in good standing and without any issues since we launched in 2017.

We initially tried to open a new account with a different bank and transfer our money. However, the new bank rejected us just as the funds had reached them. Our money was returned to HSBC, but we could no longer access it, and even today, we still have not retrieved our money from HSBC.

In August 2021, after failing to get a resolution through the HSBC complaints process, we requested arbitration through the UK's banking Ombudsman. We were informed of a long wait due to Covid, which had resulted in many bank-related problems for businesses. It wouldn't be until November 2022 that our case would be assigned.

Since arbitration started we have provided many details including the bank account where HSBC could send our money. Within a week of handing over that information, that new bank account was suspended without notice. We informed the Ombudsman that we do not want to give HSBC additional bank accounts and prefer any transfer from HSBC use a third party such as escrow, even a bag of cash would do. A necessary action that will likely lengthen the process.

It's happening again...

That happened 19 days ago, and we still have not been able to get our money from that bank even though we have informed them that we need it urgently to pay bills. It's not clear for what reason they are keeping it.

Now, nearly at the end of 2022, two different banks have our money, HSBC has held it for almost two years.

About us

BitChute is a politically neutral company that has a diverse community in interests and backgrounds. We require that users only upload legal content that complies with our terms and community guidelines, and we have a team of support staff that ensure that is the case.

BitChute is pro freedom of expression, a universal human right. Furthermore, censorship and deplatforming are poor ways to tackle societal problems as they merely create echo chambers that can lead to bigger problems in the long run. It is important to allow people to express all ideas as this exposes them to immediate opposition and allows for a public deconstruction of any flaws they may contain. If you are against bigotry or racism or hateful ideologies, you should be for freedom of expression.

"Reputational risk"

In recent years financial institutions have been using "reputational risk" to stealthily engage in political discrimination. If a financial institution takes action against a lawful company for its commitment to freedom of expression, that should be a very real reputational and material risk for the financial institution.

The idea that people or companies can be excluded from the monetary system and have their assets frozen over an opinion or lawful actions is despicable. This discrimination must be wholeheartedly rejected if we are to keep free and open societies.

Please spread the word about the unfairness of this, and share this anywhere you can. Let content creators know this is a worthy topic for a video. If you would like to contact HSBC about this or for any reason you can find their contact details here: https://www.hsbc.co.uk/contact/

I wish you all and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and any other holiday you might celebrate.

Update #4 Dan Dicks - Press For Truth
December 14, 2022 facebook twitter

I went on press for truth earlier to help spread the word about the insidious nature of this deplatforming, and how supporters of freedom of expression need to start doing more legal and peaceful activism to hold banks like HSBC to account. HBCS doesn't seem to have respect for the law but maybe they can learn respect when it starts to hit them in the pocket and more people learn how evil they are.

https://www.bitchute.com/video/cMRsZfj0tOAq/

Also we have had some great messages from you guys about how you have taken time out of your day, sometimes upwards of an hour to call HSBC and explain to them the importance of free speech. Thank you so much that is very important.

Best Wishes

Ray

Update #3 Thanks to Styx for reporting on this clank

A huge thanks to Styx for making a video, he's absolutely right that more people need to call this out or it will happen again and again, and each time the bar is moved further towards totalitarianism.

When facing such a horrible foe, one especially above all should seek guidance and protection from God. We should fight against the totalitarian and evil efforts of subversion and state enforced degeneracy and censorship of all goodness. Psalm 23:4 KJV Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
