Het bord waarschuwt om voorzichtig te zijn bij het oversteken naar het perron aan de andere kant: ‘Let op, stop, luister en kijk. Een trein kan een andere aan het zicht onttrekken’. Daaronder in kleine letters: ‘Passage alleen voor voetgangers’.

A look at Mooney’s Bay Station on the Trillium Line. This line is now two years behind schedule for entry into service. It is supposed to be in use soon … but… for instance this station looks all complete and ready for use, but recently the crews showed, up dug up the entrance to the finished station and put in a four foot deep trench in the asphalt that makes it unusable for some totally unclear reason.

Seen in #Ottawa today, an #OCTranspo #Stadler #FLIRT #train. These have now been in testing/training for 18 months, but still yet to make their first passenger run. Hard to understand why OCTranspo is losing $1M a month.

It seems we have some overnight #rail tamping work underway. The official description is "Crews will be compacting the materials underneath a small section of track at the Hunt Club Rail Bridge. This will be done by a rail-bound tamping machine."
It would be nice to get the line into service.

Comboios de Portugal (Treinen van Portugal) staat op deze trein in de noordelijke Portugese stad Porto. Comboio betekent naast trein ook konvooi. In het Portugees van Brazilië is een trein echter een trem.
