"Depleted uranium has for decades been used by NATO, and was known for being used against Serbian forces in the late 1990’s, as well as in Iraq. It is two-and-a-half times denser than steel, and thus can penetrate armor, for example it can cut straight through tanks.

The U.S. approved just 123 of 66,000 applications for #Afghan #refugees seeking temporary entry to the U.S. on humanitarian grounds, with each applicant paying $575. Meanwhile, U.S. #immigration has approved more than 68,000 #Ukrainians with no fee. Reporter Jib821 (twitter link https://twitter.com/Jib821) explains.

This has little to do with #Racism, it is more about strategic planning for future as well as pleasing the conservatives and anti #Muslim forces in the country.
