reminds of the clip in that groupthink documentary, of the experiment where they get people (children and adults), and animals (chimps, birds, dogs...) to get the treat out of the puzzlebox they were just shown how to open. the humans would copy everything in the demonstration, including the superfluous nonsense, where the animals would copy only the essentials to open the box. :D
how much superfluous nonsense are we needlessly clinging to?

The Birds
It sure felt like a scene from Hitchcock's film as the air grew thick with birds swooping down to line the branches of a big old tree. Crows. They sure make a racket like the egrets at the nearby rookery. This is right on the Gulf of Mexico, SW FL.
