My pal on dA introduced me to sugar skull (calavera) through her drawing of La Catrina. Sugar skulls are part of Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) celebration. I visited a few sites and I think this whole celebration is a nice concept.

I think Thomas would totally be into this Day if he was on our planet, haha. In fact, it might help him learn to view the passing of his beloved in a fresh perspective. Besides, he loves skulls and death stuff(?).

So, this drawing is just because I wanna draw Thomas and sugar skulls. Sorry guys, no face paint. I'm not good at decorative patterns and I don't wanna butcher this tradition. As it is, I don't think I even decorated the skulls well. x'D

Oh yeah, Whispersio gets a clay skull because Whispy does not eat anything but darkness and we don't want that white fabric to be stained with colourings, do we... Also, although it's day time, Mef's home is a beach town inside a cave, so it has no sunlight. Illuminated by fireworks. Whispy likes it.

✨ :: 47-45 [RO] Mef's Mask Party ::

Mef is having a mask party at his house in the beach town!
Be sure to wear a mask or he will paint your face so ghastly even monsters will flee! xD

My characters: Thomas, Mef, and Kei.
Above them are Whispersio (Thomas' pet) and Li'l Row (Mef's pet).

This was also a doodle (one of many) that I decided to do up a bit. Some masks you've seen in my comic, and some you haven't. Mef's pose is totally taken from my comic's Epilogue, lol. And I accidentally made Thomas a tiny bit too tall. He's supposed to be shorter than Kei. I only realised this after completing the drawing. Oh well. :') And that is my attempt at 'scribbly fun' handwriting style.

✨ :: 47-41 [CTB] The Life After ::

Hey, everyone! It's been a while, hasn't it! Well, for me it felt like ages... Here's a Ragnarök Online fan art of my characters from my comic, 'Chasing Thomas Benedicta'. They're pretty much like my own OCs now to be honest, hahaha. The beauty of RPG characters, hehehe~

These are just some ideas of what their lives might be like, maybe after a year later or so.

Here you can see (from top-left):
- Mef reading a book (with pictures, ofc!) while a drunk Thomas comes by.
- Mef being teased by Rando as usual.
- Mef and pet, Li'l Row getting some sun after some trades with merchants there.
- Thomas and pet, Whispersio attending talks in Rachel temple to learn more on the goddess Freyja since he's switching to worshipping her than Odin.
- Kei holding his wife, Molly and his new kid so very dearly.
- Mef back then when he first learns how to sharpen his daggers.

This picture is originally a collection of sketches, me purging the trash art to make way for a worthy one. Unfortunately, it's not happening; and I do wanna make OC art, but my brain is dead when it comes to my own OCs. T_T I'm tryin'a get inspired but failing. :') So I figured I'd still upload whatever sketches I have, and this is it.

:: 47-28 [CTB] The Time After ::

Ragnarök Online fan art to celebrate the completion of my doodly comic which began airing in June. It received good feedback; I'm flattered. It was uploaded only on my dA because it's the best platform for me.

Here are my RO characters (from left): Mef the Shadow Chaser (rogue type), Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop (cleric), and Kei Jang the Sniper (archer). At the coffee table is Mef's pet, Li'l Row (a hyena-faced meerkat) and Thomas' pet, Whispersio (a little ghost).

It's been a few days since Mef concluded a super big important mission of his lifetime that results in Thomas now living with him in his beach hometown, Comodo. Kei visits them a lot, but not as much once he [gets married] and becomes the family man he's always wanted to be. It will then be Thomas & Mef who visits him often, haha.

This drawing actually took some effort, but it's worth it. I died making that beaded curtain at the back. :') And thanks to @Classoo for the idea of a Whispersio blanket. x'D Unfortunately I am not good at making it, haha~

I am SO gonna miss this part of my life. :aww:

Just a little RO fan art of my game characters (from left): Mef, Thomas, Kei, Whispersio.
I made them act like 5-year-olds again, I am so sorry. x'D Only now I wish I had put them in a classroom setting.

Thomas found Mef's old painting in Mef's hut and wants to see it. Mef is shy to show his paintings because he thinks they're not good enough (yet)... but Thomas thinks that anything Mef paints will look nice, so he doesn't see what's the problem here.

Thomas says, "Let me see your stuff, Mef!" and Mef cries out in refusal. "But I wanna seeee~ Don't be shy!" Thomas insists; and Mef lets out another cry of "Nooo!" Hearing the commotion, Kei peeks in and warns Thomas, "Thomas, behave yourself or I will report you for harassment." Whispersio only looks at the antics of his owner.

RO fan art~ From left: Thomas, Molly, Kei, Whispersio, Mef.
Here Kei gets married to the woman of his dream: an ordinary town girl with feminine qualities named Molly (a total wife material, to him).

Whispersio greets Molly, but she's somewhat frightened to react because Whispersio was initially one of the many monsters of the realm. So, Kei tried to tell her it's alright because Whispersio is Thomas' pet now. He's tame and won't punch anyone except Thomas.

This is a short scene in my RO fan fic, but it will not be shown in my doodly comic. I made their tuxedos have a hint of their job uniforms. Thomas' is the easiest (idk why priests never button their shirts, lol; oh, his bow tie is on Whispersio); Kei has a red bow tie (like the Sniper's red arm band); and Mef is wearing what rogues would wear... yeah they kinda 'fancy'... but some artists do be like that, right? But uh... Mef, your bow tie is a bit crooked...

Starting off 2024 with Ragnarök Online/RO fan art! I'm sorry if y'all bored of it but this is where my mind is mostly at. T_T This was actually completed before Christmas, but I pushed it back to make way for 'Christmassy' uploads, haha.

This is based on a scene in my fan fic. Here's Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop/AB and Kei the Sniper. Oh, that's Thomas' pet ghost in the middle, Whispersio. Sometimes he's up and about, sometimes he's asleep in his Little Ghost Coffin.

They are sitting after having done some training. Kei is making arrows to restock his quiver (he refuses to buy, preferring to make them himself) and Thomas is going to drink Holy Water as refreshment. And yes, Thomas' weapon is... a Wrench. It wasn't easy to get.

OK, so I couldn't resist it. An RO Holidays fanart. xD Featuring my iRO characters, 'Un' the Summoner and Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop... and their pets! Un has a little piglet in her pouch, while Thomas has a little ghost by his side.

:: 46-051 [RO] Lazy Afternoon ::

Ragnarök Online fan art! I'm currently having no idea for my own OC story, so I do this. Drawing RO fan art is much easier because the world concept is already all laid out with complete visual refs, unlike my own stuff, lol.

They are characters from my RO fan fiction, but this scene doesn't exist in the story. I just wanted to draw this, so you can say this really came straight from the heart, haha~ And Kei is telling Thomas to be careful because he doesn't trust Shadow Chasers, but Thomas seems to be fond of Mef, trusting him.

Characters:
- Mef the Shadow Chaser (rogue class, agile and sneaky)
- Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop (cleric class, exorcist with basic prayers)
- Kei Jang the Sniper (archer class, makes his own arrows than buy 'em)
- unnamed character in the background, 'the GX' (assassin class, known for their poisons and swiftness)

I decided to use more of the smooth pen brush for this to make it easier on myself to refer to their colour palettes, particularly Thomas' strawberry blond hair. I already have some RO colour swatches saved, but not enough. And I'm aware that the blushing Mef looks too girlish here, lol.

My RO game character, Archbishop Thomas Benedicta, back when his faith was wavering.

I kinda wish the religious job/class in RO were more... Norse than Christianity. That would make them so perfect. Anyway, I tried to find some relevant quotes from Norse religious texts (instead of Bible) since the people of Midgard mostly worship Odin (if not Freja); but ehhh the Norse didn't exactly have a written holy scripture of anything. The Poetic Edda is the one legend, and that quote has the vibe, so I took it.

:: 46-036 [RO] Resting Peacefully ::

Ragnarök Online fan art featuring my character, Archbishop Thomas Benedicta and a Shadow Chaser, Mef. Had this idea since a couple of months back when my artist block hit me, and only recently could I draw it out.

In-game music: [Divine Grace (v2)]

Thomas has an obsession for two things: skulls and crosses. The former is liquidable asset, and the latter is for protection. He tells the members of the church that when he dies, please put him together with his pet ghost, Whispersio in a coffin (with Whispy being in his own little coffin inside the bigger one), and bury him with the big cross he hangs behind his room door. Skulls can be sold to cover the funeral costs.

"But first, let me test my coffin out," he tells the church. They let him and went about their ways. Thomas goes into the coffin, bringing his huge cross from his room door, and lies down inside. "Ah, feels just like my bed in the storage room," he mutters to himself. It was comfortable enough that he fell asleep.

A figure stealthily approaches, emerging from the shadows upon having caught up with his target. He squats by the coffin, his weapon unsheathed. 'To die in your sleep ought to be merciful enough,' he thinks to himself as he looks at the sleeping Archbishop. He is supposed to have been done with the disposal of his target, but instead finds himself enjoying the serene look on Thomas' face.

(Other notes: I could not fit in things like skull, Holy Water, and Whispy in the coffin due to chibi proportions. x'D And Thomas is, at present, my comfort character. :') The carpeting is taken directly from my own in-game screenshot.)

Ragnarök Online fan art featuring my Archbishop, Thomas Benedicta and his beloved pet ghost, Whispersio.

Thomas spends his morning reading while enjoying some Holy Water that he bottled himself from the nearby lake. He also gives Whispersio some pet food. Whispersio eats Damp Darkness; it looks like black smoke. After this, Thomas will put his stole on and he will go to do some training against desert wolves.

That's... pretty much his life now.

:: 46-027 [RO] Just Chillin' ::

Hello, everyone!! >///<

After two months of having artist block, I am finally drawing something!
It got started thanks to an Artfol challenge which I will upload once I am done with it. This one finished first because I really wanted to draw this fella.

This is a semi-chibi of my Ragnarök Online (iRO) game character, Thomas Benedicta the Archbishop, chilling out with his his little ghost pet, Whispersio at a beach town called Comodo. He's drinking a knock-off of the famous Tropical Sograt cocktail.

I would have wanted to draw him in his church uniform, but I needed something simpler for warming up, but I decided to keep the uniform's trousers and shoes. My warm-up sketch turned out pretty good. So, I made a full drawing. ^^

The town is located inside a cave, light coming from lanterns of sorts and fireworks! Hence, the purplish glow and stuff. Its main attraction is was the casino, but thanks to U.S. laws, the gambling mini-games have been removed, making Comodo a rather pointless city in game.

:: 46-014 [ROxTJH] Thomas and Vic ::

"Where did you say you were from again...?" Thomas asks Vic.

What if Vic stepped through a rogue portal (a sudden portal with random destinations) and ended up in Midgard (that of Ragnarök Online)? o_O And for the heck of it, he meets my RO priest, Thomas Benedicta! xD I bet you he'd be in the midst of making holy water.

Thomas wouldn't be too weirded out at first because Vic's outfit is like that of a Mechanic’s (alternate version), or if he has a gun with him, he’s a Gunslinger. In terms of tech, Midgard’s like the Nexus in its glory days, so it should not be too hard for Vic to adapt. Besides, portals are such a norm there.

Still, some things will definitely be weird for Vic, like a priest having a pet ghost. Whispersio waves hi at Vic, but if it punches Vic, that's true friendship!

Misc:
I'm trying out a new brush set, 'Chalks for Children'. It's quite fun. I also avoided using ruler/line tool for the window for more squiggly-ness, haha.
