Since the smoke isn’t going away soon (according to our meteorologist) and it’s going up into the 90s the next couple of days, I sucked it up and N95’d it up and went to the store for necessities 🍫 🍪 and food

This is actually the best it’s been for days.

Summerfest is going on on the lakefront in Milwaukee and the performers are complaining about the air quality. It’s all outdoors and they have to sing in the smoke. It’s making them cough.

Milwaukee's air is 'very unhealthy' for all populations and is second worst in the world

Early Tuesday morning, the city at one point moved into the "very unhealthy" category for everyone with an Air Quality Index of 248 (purple zone) as smoke from Canadian wildfires is blanketing the state, making the skies hazy.

Milwaukee's air quality reached the "very unhealthy" level for the first time in a spring and summer that is being defined by deteriorating air quality.

Staying bottled up today…

A north wind and #Ottawa is once again "smoked out" today, due to forest fires burning in #Quebec. The photo shows the morning sun in the smokey sky. Visibility is 3 miles (5 km) in #smoke, so have to stay indoors today with the windows all closed, as the smoke is quite toxic.
