Sitting alone on one of his compartment’s dark-red leather beds, Lytvynov overheard people speaking loudly in the compartment next to his.

"I went to them to ask if they wanted to celebrate the New Year together, and they agreed," Lytvynov says.

"It felt like a scene from a TV series," The four bonded instantly, exchanged contact information, and remain in touch to this day.

Madrid vetoed the 619 million euro bid ($680 million) due to concerns about Budapest's warm ties to Moscow amid Russia's ongoing full-scale war against Ukraine, the FT wrote.

It seems we have some overnight #rail tamping work underway. The official description is "Crews will be compacting the materials underneath a small section of track at the Hunt Club Rail Bridge. This will be done by a rail-bound tamping machine."
It would be nice to get the line into service.
