These w matured and that is the end of my #cucumber plant number one in the hydroponic unit. Letting cucumbers grown to maturity spends signal to the plant that it's life has come to an end.

Finally found the variety of #Armenian #Cucumber I have been looking for.

Asked in an Iranian group about it and got a lot of answers that I have already tried, then someone mentioned "Painted Serpent cucumber" and searching the web, I cam across this guy who had some info about them

This delectable cuke may also be called the serpent melon, and the plain, light green type is known as the Armenian cucumber.
Now I have to find a seller in Europe who can deliver them fast hoping to be able to grow them this summer, they take up to 72 days to mature.

I wonder if people would buy packs of #fertilizer in small packs for 20L #kratky
#hydroponics with instruction on how to use them.

I make them for my use & found it really time saving to prepare them in advance to just mix them with water when my plants are germinated & mature enough to be transferred to bucket.

I make different ones for #tomato, #pepper, #cucumber, #melon, #eggplant. each pack will be about 5 euros.

The price of vegetables is set to skyrocket as the cost of living crisis deepens, with some even doubling in price as everyday items become less affordable for Brits.
Cucumbers, now around 60p, could soar above £1 next year as energy prices continue to rise for vegetable growers.
The news comes as the boss of Tesco said the supermarket was taking extra security precautions amid shoplifting concerns.
esco chairman John Allan, 74, warned huge price increases could lead to more thefts by 'desperate people' unable to afford food.
Speaking to Times Radio he said: 'I think shoplifting is a concern, and getting the police to take action and respond to cases... this is a concern right across the retail trade.
'I don't sympathise with people who shoplift, but I can understand desperate people taking desperate measures - sometimes when they've literally got no money left.'

My balcony l is not pretty or neat, but it's almost all green and soon will be full of tomatoes again.

Ordered 6 bags of soil to grow different cucumbers, some more pepper and beans for the fall season.

It's making tue balcony cooler during the hot days of summer.

I am using about 16L of water t times per day. About half of it from gray water.
