Meanwhile... I've been drilling down on the Kerfuffle over "Morning Joe" and sidekick house-calling on Sir...

Not privy to what actually went on down in the swamps of Mar-a-lago, nor the context of whose idea it was, the goal, the "fear" or "service" or $$ - (or stay out of jail cards?) justifying the effort, etc. etc....

Right now there are many big discussions - reactions, & reflections - about #MSNBC, &/or its management or individual journalist/reporters - and same for CNN, NBC, Fox, et al - plus the nonstop #disinformation from the bubbles of #Truth #X , and the sacred podcasts of #doublespeak spew from the Ministry of " #Truth ". Plus occasional #BrainSpur - induced #WordSalad" proclamations.

And of course - widening the lens - "the press" writ large is now anticipating the incoming dynasty of Lord #TrumpVirus and his Senators of #insanity and #nihilism, our new arbiters of #reality as sold on their own media platforms in #GQP world &or #Muskville

He agrees with Bibi that Gaza is Israeli land.

#AlexWagner #MSNBC aired that quote from an interviewee after a current Marist poll, and this is what I've been saying aaaaaallllllllllllll along when I called bollox on George Clooney's op-ed. Another interviewee said "I'd vote for a fly with both wings pulled off before I'd vote for #Trump".

It's why I called bollox on #MichaelMoore's assessment, too, --and I was a fan since his first movie, "Roger & Me" --when he was correct about Biden's problem with the Muslim vote there but skipped right over the Black vote when he rang the alarm bells. Biden has an Israel problem but there's no friggin' way any Muslim is going to vote for the Netanyahu fanboy Trump.

And that the anti-Biden Dem gang was attempting to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory. I TOLD YOU SO.

This is a commentary on Donny Deusche's commentary on "this is the time to question" openly and in public because "this is who we are" in terms of public debate, and yeah, that's noble and all, but the question he pulled out of his pocket is "is there an alternative...an all-female ticket? There I said it".

Not only no, but HELL NO, Alex Wagner and Susan Glasser. It's not public amnesia that causes people to "not remember" the Trump years--it's the Paywall Syndrome, as in, the public is out of the information loop. Publishers with paywalls have no business blaming the public for lacking updated information. #EpicFAIL

Ask social psychologist Phil Zimbardo about "bad apples" versus "bad barrels & barrel-makers".
IMM, Laurence O'Donnell is the embodiment of integrity, plus quite a good fit with the seeking of "context and perspective".
Even good barrels will occasionally produce bad apples, but bad barrels plus bad barrel-makers is what tips the scales toward evil.

If there are islands of responsible journalism that can speak truth to power, and ;even to apparent corruption of 'purity' in one's own ecosystem, I'm happy to see it and celebrate it. I'm thinking O'Donnell, Stephanie ("Let's get smarter" Ruhl), Wagner (who described #Muskvirus as a "free speech absolutist"), and others whose shifts I don't often see .... play on! Continue offering refuges of #truth.

Ah, OK, this is nice. I've watched her and wondered how she'd fit in, "in Brian's shoes", and repartee with panelists.
My take is that she is smart, "feisty" (is that sexist?), let's say a nice blend of tough, pointed, and - gotta say - "snarky", or with a bit of skeptical attitude. And she meshes well with the first-string panelists. So.... Congratulations to her, and for viewers, voila.
