The ultimate mass hysteria going on in iran!

For some strange reason, this year "Arbaeen" seems to be a much bigger event than previous years.

More than 100 thousands people from Iran are taking themselves by train, bus, car and by foot towards "Karbala" in Iraq.

The unbelievable show of madness in temperatures between 42 and 47°C, men women and children are walking towards a place where 3rd imam of Shia. The grandson of Muslim prophet and 71 members of his family and followers were killed by a significantly larger army of Muslim khaliphat (that later became the Sunni sect of Islam).

It's just sad and upsetting to see this level of madness in 2023 of people who can barely afford their daily living, spending multiple times their annual income to be part of this mass hysteria pilgrimage.

Many have already "martyred" during this holy pilgrimage and many more will do in coming days.

Yesterday, a police station in Baluchestan province of Iran was attacked by a group of armed fighters

In early reports the government media talked about a suicide bomber blowing up the port of the police station before they attacked the police inside, but later they corrected it to say that they use large bombs and grenades to attack the station.

In the process, one police man was killed immediately and another died of injuries he received during the gun fight that followed.

2 of the attackers were also killed and other 2 were chased and cornered in a private home during the follow up of the attack. And they were lost their lives in the gun battle that followed.

This is the most severe attack by the armed groups in Baluchestan province in recent months. And will definitely causeea major crack down by the regime against the peaceful demonstrators and Sunni clerics critical of the regime.

Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani, one of the 6 clearics appointed by Khamenei into the Assembly of experts (Majles-e Khibregan), he was shot dead in northern city of Babolsar today.

Soleimani had served as the personal representative of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to the province of Sistan and Baluchestan earlier.

Confusion persisted hours after the attack. State TV initially reported that Soleimani was at the bank when another man seized a guard’s firearm and began shooting over a personal dispute with an employee.

State TV later reported that the guard was the one who opened fire and killed the cleric. The Interior Ministry arrested the attacker and launched a special investigation into the murder, whose motive remains unclear.

Soleimani was a member of the Assembly of Experts, an 88-seat panel that oversees and appoints Iran’s supreme leader. He also was the imam who led the weekly Friday prayers in the #Kashan and #Zahedan cities.

The 75-year-old cleric had served as the personal representative of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali #Khamenei to the province of #Sistan and #Baluchestan, which shares a border with #Pakistan and #Afghanistan and has a majority #Sunni population.

Extremist groups against #Tehran’s Shiite government operate there, along with gangs dedicated to smuggling and drug trafficking activities.

In April 2022, a suspected Sunni extremist stabbed to death two Shiite clerics and injured another in #Mashhad city on the influence of the #takfiri, a term used for Muslims who brand others as apostates and condemn them to death.

Ramadan and the never ending discussion about what day it starts and what day it ends!

Most of the Muslim world, except Iran, Turkey and Iraq started the Ramadan today on Wednesday, but the other countries (as always) starting it tomorrow.

I could never understand the BS surrounding the "visibility" of the moon when scientifically, one can say exactly when the lunar "new month" has started or ended.

But, the people have to follow the decision by their religious leaders who needeto "see" the moon before starting #Ramadan or ending it.

Overall, Iran’s goal is to impoverish Lebanon, destroy its middle and upper class, encourage its #Sunni and #Christian #community to emigrate, so that Hezbollah will grow in power and that all that will remain is a hollowed-out Lebanese state that is a province within a larger Hezbollahstan that is more powerful than Lebanon.

Hezbollah has its own extra-judicial armed forces, a massive illegal armed #militia with 150,000 missiles. Hezbollah sends fighters to #Syria and conducts Lebanon’s foreign policy. Hezbollah has its own telecommunications #network. It is able to #control voting for the presidency and prime ministership. It also has a parallel construction, banking, and even supermarket network. Now it will be the supplier of fuel, Iran says.
