Doom originally supported #multimonitor #gameplay through the most overkill method possible by using a separate #computer for each #monitor. Even if you have the #hardware, it's a lot of work to set up, but I've always wanted to give it a shot. So today I finally did!

It's astounding how many problems (and subsequent log entries) disappear once the local #DNS server is -- finally, after about five or seven years -- #configured to actually serve the local clients with the information they requested.
the most fundamental networking settings are ever changing it used to be /etc/resolv.conf where nameservers are set systemd is doing it's own thing /etc/systemd/resolved.conf and Ubuntu (based on Debian) is doing (again) it's entirely own thing (netplan) frankly: this sucks X-D annoys[...]

Open a new tab in your browser, type about: config in the address bar, and hit the Enter key.
Click on Accept the Risk and Continue.
In the Search preference name bar, look for the parameter browser.search.openintab. It has to be set to true (false by default). Just click on the toggle from the right side.
Do the same for browser.urlbar.openintab, browser.newtabpage.enabled and browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInTabs .
Search for browser.link.open_newwindow and check to have the value 3.
Also, search for browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction to have the value 0. To modify the value double click on it and then click on the check marked sign on the right.
Restart Firefox to keep the changes.
