I am so sick of these "celebrity" "Iranians" spreading BS stories about protesters in Iran and when their lies are exposed, still don't give it up and repeat the nonsense and receive 1000s of likes and tap on shoulder for "saving the lives of protesters".

In the mean time, real cases go unnoticed, or won't get the needed attention and those who's lives ARE in real danger, end up losing their lives and become yet another tool for these morons to use for their disgusting push for a military conflict between US and Iran.

#IRI regime, as brutal and disgusting as it is, it is not like it was in the 80s, it is not homogeneous and unified entity and there are many moderate forces there who want to get rid of #Khamenei and the iron grip of the #GuardianCouncil to push #Iran toward a less totalitarian type of government, something that hopefully develop into it moving towards a real democracy eventually.

Sources inside #Iran revealed that #MohammadBoroughani was granted a visit with his mother & sister on Tuesday, and then moved to a section of Raja'i Shahr prison where prisoners scheduled for execution are typically held

This has sparked grave concerns that Mohammad Boroughani's execution may be imminent. Iran's authorities #khamenei must immediately halt any plans to execute him and quash his death sentence which was issued after a sham trial.

Mostafa Mir Salim, conservative member of #IRI parliament from Tehran: Those responsible for current events should be executed between 5-10 days after they are captured. Execution (hanging) of those responsible for these events was the timely correct action.

This is in response to some internal criticism about the recent executions and the legitimacy of the speedy process in which those were convicted.

#Iran has executed a second prisoner detained amid the ongoing nationwide #protests that are challenging the nation’s Islamic clerical leadership.

The protester, #MajidrezaRahnavard, had been convicted of killing two members of the security forces, the Iranian judiciary’s #Mizan news agency said.

He had also been convicted of “moharebeh” — or waging “war against God,” a charge that carries the #deathpenalty under Iran’s #Shariah or Islamic law.

Rahnavard’s execution comes less than a month after he allegedly carried out the fatal stabbings.

#Humanrights activists and political observers say that at least a dozen other protesters detained by authorities are facing a similar fate.

#Iran carries out second execution linked to anti-government protests

The Islamic Republic hanged a man in public on Monday who had been convicted of killing two members of security forces, the judiciary's #Mizan news agency reported, the second execution linked to anti-government protests in less than a week.

"Majid Reza Rahnavard was hanged in public in (the holy Shi'ite city of) Mashahd this morning ... he was sentenced to death for 'waging war against God' after stabbing to death two members of security forces," Mizan said.

MohammadMehdi Karmi, Reza Aria, Hamid QaraHasanloo and Hossein Mohammadi are four of the five people who are sentenced to death d accused of participating in the murder of "Seyed Ruhollah Ajamian" the Basij paramilitary who was killed by multiple stab wounds and kicked by protesters in Karaj west of Tehran.

The identity of the fifth person who was sentenced to death in this case is still unknown.

The regime has released a video they use as proof of these people participation in the "lynching" and death of the uniformed Basiji "police" in early days of protests, but they were convicted in closed courts, without having access to lawyers or any impartial investigation of the government proof of their guilt.

This is what the English language Tehran Times of IRI has said about the insidents surrounding the death of some of the government police and paramilitary:

In Karaj, the Basij member identified as Seyed Ruhollah Ajamian was stabbed to death by rioters. Fars News said he was attacked in the Khorramdash district. A viral photo on social media showed Ajamian lying on the ground with his Basij uniform torn off.
Hamid Pournorouz, 40, from Lahijan was also martyred on Thursday evening with cold weapons, the Mehr News Agency reported late on Thursday.

Also, a number of police officers have been severely wounded after rioters attacked their patrol and robbed away their gear. Videos that have gone viral showed the bloody officers lying in the car and getting shots and stones from rioters.

This brings back some really bad memories of the 80s.

When I was in #Evin Prison during the winter of 81, they used to have weekly "confession" session by former members of Mujahedin Khapq (#MKO) who were either turning into #IRGC members or sent to they bi weekly execution list.

Watching the confession of these young men in Iran, brought back those horrible memories. They have been tortured and forced into confession and made to believe that their public confession may save them from execution.

I fear for the life of these guys who are accused of involvement in the death of a #Basij member and iniriy of several #IRI #police as well as setting their patrol car on fire.

IRI regime needs pressure from international community who are sadly more focused on using sanctions rather than diplomatic pressure to help these young men in order to save their lives.

IRI telegram channel, says that he received death penalty for attacking a convoy of motorcycle riding Basijis and running over one who later died at the hospital due to injuries he received.

His sentence is established by the revolutionary court as "Criminal on earth ً(مقصد فیل ارض) . The accusation used by the regime from the early days of revolution against those they deemed as enemies of state.

The chances of his sentence getting overturned is slim since the court does nor allow the general due process of legal system in the country (as bad as it is, it gives the person the right to have a lawyer present and ability to argue against accusations).
