So, tomorrow is my son's birthday #42. It's so very different from just two years ago when so many friends "here", from Pluspora, and #GPlusRefugee folks helped to make a special 40th celebration. Now, the slow but relentless decline of Early Onset Alzheimer's continues and I am just hoping we can keep his pain under control so he is up most of the day and in decent spirits. We've had about two weeks now where there are parts of the day with hours of yelling, rage and other negative behaviors. It gets pretty bad at times. I have been out of the most effective MMJ to help because the Arizona dispensaries are no longer stocking most of the edibles that work for my son. When Arizona went "recreational MMJ" in February, most dispensaries stock only what appeals to recreational users and in great quantity. Arrgh!

There are a couple great products we can get, sometimes, but they are very hard to get and expensive. The 1000mg candy bar is best but it's $75. There are 10 tabs which I cut in half for 50mg doses which are perfect. They hold him for about 2 1/2 hours. But I can only get them on a big sale, which are rare. Turns out recreational MMJ users are just not buying $75 candy bars, go figure. So today, I am dreading a trek out to any dispensary to buy any edible item I can get, at any price, just so I know we can get through tomorrow, his birthday.

We're not having a party, but have invited family and friends to make calls to him through the day. I'll get out to a store today to get him a cheesecake and maybe an ice cream cake to share. (It's going to be 110º today and tomorrow!) His caregivers are helping to stagger their shifts to overlap so from 5 pm on, there will be 2-3 at a time here and brothers John and Cameron will be here about 6 pm. So this will feel like a party and hopefully by spacing it out, all day he can enjoy extra attention. I'll make a post here TOMORROW morning so any of our friends can comment on it and I can show Drew. He'll be grinning like mad.

April 2021, With COVID restriction, like most countries, Singapore’s Tourism sector is badly hit, so citizens were given $100 to spend
on “organized” local tours. Took a day trip to Southern Islands. On the beach at St John’s and Lazarus Island (3).
