Israeli Officer Who Ordered Illegal Search of Palestinian Woman's Genitals Gets Promotion

The officer ordered two female soldiers to conduct the invasive search on suspicion that the woman was hiding a SIM card to communicate with Hamas members.

The case against the officer and others involved was initially closed in 2018 due to insufficient evidence, despite the search being illegal and lacking intelligence justification.

However, following media reporting, the officer was temporarily suspended pending a new Military Police investigation into the incident.

"Israel's genocide on the Palestinians in #Gaza is an escalatory stage of a long-standing settler-colonial process of erasure."

The United Nations Human Rights Council on Monday published a draft report that found "reasonable grounds to believe" that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, a move that came on the same day as the U.N. Security Council passed a resolution demanding an immediate cease-fire in the ongoing war.

The advance unedited version of the report—entitled Anatomy of a Genocide—concludes that Israel's far-right government and military "have intentionally distorted jus in bello principles, subverting their protective functions, in an attempt to legitimize genocidal violence against the Palestinian people."

Lawyers who managed to visit the Israeli Nafha prison reported that Palestinian prisoners there are suffering from an escalating persistence in the policy of torture employed in their daily treatment.

A lawyer from the Palestinian Prisoners and Freed Prisoners' Affairs Commission stated in a statement today that there is a common wall between the room where the lawyers are located and a corridor inside the prison. Through it, they heard the sounds of prisoners being beaten, tortured, and screaming.

They are subjected to insults and forced to utter obscene and derogatory words. These sounds likely originate from places of detention for prisoners from the #Gaza Strip.

According to media reports, Senator Graham reportedly attacked UNRWA and allegedly claimed that the relief agency has taught Palestinian children to "kill all the Jews," leading to the organization being declared "dead to the US."

This occur amidst Israel's failure to provide evidence for its allegations and claims of certain organizations' involvement in the events of October 7th. As a result, all countries except the US have reinstated funding for #UNRWA.

Why, why, why, why are they allowed to dictate to the UN what is acceptable or not? Palestinian mother's can't feed their children because they are starving and without access to medicine and baby formula, these poor children have no chance whatsoever.

These poor innocent children had the bad luck of being born in the worst place on earth for children today, and the disgusting hypocrites of world don't seem to care

A French man serving in the Israeli military has released footage showing blindfolded and tied up Palestinians who were kidnapped by the IDF, while gloating over their torture.

In the video, he is heard cursing at the Palestinian prisoners, using derogatory language, and mocking their torture. He specifically mocked a prisoner who had urinated himself while tied up, laughing at him.

How can we allow this to go on like this?

How can people accept a society that doing this to innocent people as a civilized society, much less fighting against those who want to end this?

I thought I had seen the worst of civilized west during the Bosnian and Rwandan genocide, or the Rohingya Genocide or mass starvation of Iraqis in the 90s and Yemenis in the past few years.

But unlike those, we are watching it life, the victims are begging us to save them. The malnourished and skin and bones children of Gaza are visible to anyone who wants to see it.

The problem is that they don't want to see.

They just don't care.

They don't see them as human beings.

For most people, they simply don't matter.

They are more mad at us disturbing their perfect happy lives with such annoying posts and reminders.

We just have lost our last shred of humanity. We are all complicit in this ongoing man made catastrophe.

Dr Nick Maynard, a volunteer consultant surgeon in Gaza, recalled a young girl with burns so bad on her face bone could be seen. “She clearly had no chance of survival and was going to die, but we had no pain relief to give her. She died in agony on the floor of the emergency department.”
