This Rabbi is charged with anti terrorism charges: This morning, seven rabbis and activists were arrested by Israeli police at the Gaza border as part of a delegation of thirty rabbis and other peace activists with Rabbis for Ceasefire from Israel and the United States who were attemping to bring food supplies into #Gaza through the Erez crossing.

The Passover Haggadah reads, “Let all who are hungry come and eat,” and teaches us that we must work for the freedom of all people. The Israeli government is enacting a famine on the people of Gaza. Forced starvation is just one of the many weapons of war that the Israeli state is using against the 2.3 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

This group of rabbis and activists came to the Erez Border crossing on Passover carrying aid in coordination with UNRWA, an organization critical to providing international aid to avert famine and further catastrophe for the people in Gaza. The Israeli government has banned #UNRWA from operating in northern Gaza. Rabbis for Ceasefire is bringing food aid to demonstrate this dire need, to call for the opening of all border crossings to allow in aid, and to demand an end to the siege on Gaza.​​​​​​​

Food aid is essential but not sufficient. To save the lives of Palestinians on the verge of death by the Israeli government's policy of forced starvation and siege, there must also be sufficient infrastructure in place to safely supply and distribute food alongside medical care. Life for Palestinian people is impossible without a permanent #ceasefire and lifting of the siege on Gaza.

As Rabbi Brant Rosen says, "next year, may there be liberation from the river to the sea."

Israeli, US aid truck statistics are ‘a complete lie’: #Gaza media office

The government media office in Gaza says the total number of aid trucks entering the Gaza Strip on a daily basis ranges, on average, between 130 and 150 trucks.

In a press release, the media office said the Israeli “narrative” adopted by the United States that there are around 300 aid trucks entering the Gaza Strip daily “is a complete lie and a falsification of reality”.

The office said that the areas in northern Gaza are still suffering from a real food crisis and that the only way to stop the famine in northern Gaza and address the food crisis across the whole enclave is to open all crossings.

Since the start of April, no more than 2,800 trucks have entered the enclave, according to the media office.

“The occupation deliberately lies about the humanitarian reality inside the Gaza Strip, and has been promoting a false narrative for some time about improvements in the mechanism of bringing aid in and increasing the number of trucks entering the Strip,” the statement read.

“This was denied by the World Food Programme, when it announced last Thursday that only 392 aid trucks loaded with food had entered the Gaza Strip during the month of April.

The media office said its numbers were in line with those of the United Nations, which confirmed in a post on X that only 392 trucks loaded with food have arrived since the beginning of April.

For the first time after almost 6 months, the bakery in northern Gaza was able to open and bake bread for starving people there.

The amount of aid entering Gaza is barely enough to keep them alive, but Netanyahu and IDF seems to have erased the restrictions on incoming food trucks and a few of them actually reached the besieged northern Gaza.

Don't let these stories take away your attention, over half a million Palestinians have nothing to eat. No clean water to drink and no access to medicine or sanitary items.

Their suffering is unimaginable. Their pain is unbearable and their lives are at imminent danger.

Fuck Israel and their fear of retaliation for the disgusting crime they committed. Push for unconditional and immediate seasefire and push Israel to allow humanitarian aid that is sitting and waiting right in front of their eyes in.

Don't let Biden get away with his complicity in this ongoing human catastrophe.

What happened to "civilized west'" support of law and order and enforcing the demands of #UN Security Council and #ICJ?

7 days have passed, Israel not only ignored the ruling, it has escalated their war crimes in both #Gaza and occupied West Bank.

They haven't allowed humanitarian aid, but murdered western volunteers feeding the starving palestinians.

#US hasn't pushed for ceasefire and release of the hostages, instead they have given billions of dollars worth of 2000 pound bombs and F-35 fighter jets to Israel.

#Canada hasn't stopped selling weapons to Israel despite them laying about it and ignoring the parliament ruling.

UK simply don't give a shit.
Neither does #France, #Germany, #Sweden, #Italy, #Denmark and other "civilized European" nations.

This is another outrageous lie by IDF who targeted 3 different vehicles of WCK. Clearly marked by the group and their geo locations shared with Israeli military.

Do they really think we are stupid? That they accidentally attacked 3 vehicles from the same organization on 3 different locations by mistake?
