A Limb is a kind of artistic Frankenstein, exhuming all sorts of music corpses from their graves, stitching an ambient body with funk legs, punk feet, experimental arms, jazz hands, a drone head, inserting a big ethnic music heart and krautrock lungs... then bathing the whole "body" into a dub effects bath, until an electro thunderbolt strikes it and... omg... it's... alive! Lord #TrumpVirus the "stable genius" is now spouting off challenges to compete with him for cognitive clarity.
As long as he can choose the 'test'; so his opponent must be prepared to out-do a 'perfect' ID of woman-man-person-camera.....

What I know from decades of teaching, researching, and doing cognitive assessment is that "thinking" is multi-dimensional and that people do have different patterns of strengths and weakness; some are better at spatial reasoning & memory, some are verbally oriented. Some can plan and see cause/effect, others don't do so well. Some grab concepts quickly, verbal &/or nonverbal, others no.

So I'm left pondering how the guy with "all the best words" would do on test of word use and conceptual reasoning.

On one of the earlier Wechsler (IQ) tests, a favorite item (no longer asked) was: "What does this expression mean: "Shallow brooks are noisy". I would love to see Drumpf's answer! (Or on any item tapping 'concept formation' or categorization'.)

Of course I smile at the thought of his taking any sort of formal thinking / 'emotional' / 'projective' test. I'd do the testing for free!

I'm pretty sure one of the old classics would end up like this.

A Look at a Slice of Frank Zappa's Life; Discussion with Moon Zappa

Perfectly in sync with the #psych #Music #biography #perspective such as seen with "Glimpses", and various memoirs and articles/interviews about the 'real-deal' of relationships and #context for some big celebrities - like #Dylan and #Band, as well as #BrianWilson and family, and some other well-known performers.

This one is very 'easy-listening', a spotlight (vicariously) on the life of #FrankZappa and #MoonZappa, in the aftermath of a 40-year anniversary of Frank's only commercial "radio song". So for teen-agers, he was upstaged by his 14-yr-old daughter! Her reflections:

A 29-minute interview, where Zappa reflects very thoughtfully and soberly, reflections & responses to some very good questions.

Think you may enjoy this, @V. T. Eric Layton if you've not seen it. Another "glimpse" from someone who knows (like Densmore!)

Since end of January Cat's Circus is history. I lost my musical home and a some others too. I created my own place for Music Events on my Parcel Clara's ArtGarden. The name is " Studio M ".
I will play there on different days and different times. Lets see how that works.
I know it's difficult to start something new. But I hope many of you will visit.
