Just a couple days ago an article about returning stuff belonging to country of origin that was looted by colonizing countries so this article belongs on that subject, but I want to say a word about the source. CSM **used to be** regarded as having high quality journalism despite origins in religion and a rep thereof would occasionally be sought for a talking head panel. Can't explain the decline from journalistic grace, so to speak, over these years.

I noticed that it does sport religious slant opinion articles but CSM looks like it still has a good record on the divide between reporting and opinion. So here's something from a source you don't see every day, these days--Christian Science Monitor.

#NFT Projects are just MLMs for Tech Elites

source: https://every.to/napkin-math/nft-projects-are-just-mlms-for-tech-elites

Let’s look at the math - in the past 30 days, the top 25 collections have done more than $2.3B in transactions. Out of this, 60% of that volume comes from just five collections - #Cryptopunks, #MutantApes, #ArtBlocks, #BoredApes, and #Loot. If you extend it to the top 50 collections, we’re looking at closer to $2.8B - but still almost 50% of that comes from those same five collections.
