Ich hab mir brauchbare ersatzhardware für mein primäres keyboard sichern können!

Warum das ein solches YAY is? Hajo......

Ich nutze ein Cherry CyMotion Master Linux.. Das sieht dann so aus:

Eines der features dieses keyboards ist, das die tastenkappen rund 20% größer als normale tastenkappen sind...

Das is superbequem zum tippen und sorgt für viel handbewegung bei ebendem...... und sieht ausserdem super psychedelisch aus..... was mir irgendwie ausnahmslos jede/r bestätigte der sich an dieses keyboard wagte...

Leider gabs diese serie an keyboards (CyMotion Master XPress und Master Linux) nur eine begrenzte zeit....... Also ist das inzwischen wirklich seltene hardware....

Nu hab ich aber auf epay ein cymotion master xpress aufgetan welches nur minimal genutzt wurde - für die makro keys offenbar.

OMFG YAY! Ein komplett sauberes gehäuse und ein sauberer tastensatz ..... + elektronik und kram...

Shit .... ich kann dann mein aktuelles keyboard endlich einmal sinnvoll aufarbeiten und die Tux logos und tasten mitnehmen..

Bereits einer der ersten Werbeslogans von Microsoft "Where do you want to go today?" wollte uns die grenzenlose Freiheit und Mobilität im Netz vorgaukeln. Und alles was danach kam, sah immer so aus, als könnten wir "die Maschine" für unsere Zwecke benutzen und sie wäre jederzeit zu Diensten.

Real macht sie uns zum Sklaven und verführt uns dazu, mit ihr Zeit zu vergeuden und dabei zieht sie uns alles aus den Taschen, was wir mal besessen hatten

• unsere persönlichen Daten,
• inklusive der biometrischen Daten, wie Fingerabdruck und unser biometrische Foto,
• Konto- und Kreditkartendaten und das Geld auf dem Konto
• und schließlich noch unser teuer bezahltes Datenvolumen.

Auf Rubikon wird beschrieben, wie dieser digitale Big Brother uns zu freiwilliger Selbstausleuchtung und Selbstentblößung bringt. Dazu geht es zurück bis in die Planungen für DARPA, den Vorgänger des Internets, durch das US Militär. Und tatsächlich erhält auch heute die Muttergesellschaft des Erfinders von Siri, die 2010 von Apple übernommen werden durfte oder musste, laut einem 2015 veröffentlichten Bericht immer noch mehr als die Hälfte ihrer Einnahmen vom US-Verteidigungsministerium.

Welche Entwicklungen der letzten Jahrzehnte dabei gefördert und welche gebremst wurden ist durchaus interessant. Auch die plötzlichen und nur scheinbar unerklärlichen Ab- und Auftritte in der IT-Geschäftswelt der USA finden dann ihre Ursache. So startete der 19-jährige Harvard-Student Mark Zuckerberg die Website des späteren Facebook am 4. Februar 2004, also an dem gleichen Tag an dem das DARPA Projekt LifeLog abgeschaltet wurde.

Rubikon schreibt dazu:

2015 rückte der DARPA-Architekt Douglas Gage gegenüber VICE — einem US-amerikanischen Online- und Print-Magazin — mit der bitteren Wahrheit heraus, dass „Facebook derzeit das wahre Gesicht von Pseudo-LifeLog ist“ und fügte hinzu: "Am Ende haben wir die gleiche Art von detaillierten persönlichen Informationen an Werbetreibende und Datenmakler weitergegeben, ohne die Art von Widerstand hervorzurufen, die LifeLog hervorgerufen hat."

Unser Ehrenmitglied Edward Snowden warnte 2019 davor, dass Facebook genauso wenig vertrauenswürdig ist wie ein US-Geheimdienst: "Facebooks interner Zweck ist es, ob sie es nun öffentlich sagen oder nicht, perfekte Aufzeichnungen über das Privatleben im Rahmen ihrer Möglichkeiten zu erstellen und diese dann für ihre eigene unternehmerische Bereicherung zu nutzen. Ohne Rücksicht auf die Konsequenzen."
