Ben-Gvir feels he is the master or #Netanyahu

Ma'ariv newspaper describes the situation as: There is a new prime minister in “Israel”.

They add that in practice, Benjamin Netanyahu has become the servant of his master, Itamar #BenGvir, and this raises the obvious question: To what extent has Netanyahu deteriorated?

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir appeared in front of the cameras a few days ago while leaving the Prime Minister’s Office, acting Prime Minister, and announced in an unambiguous tone: “I warned the Prime Minister that we will not enter #Rafah, nor will there is an illegal deal.

The Prime Minister heard the words, and promised that "Israel" would enter Rafah, and promised that the war would continue, and promised that there would be no illegal deal.

These words and tone of voice leave no room for doubt in the heart of every listener. There is a new prime minister in the State of #Israel.

This raises the obvious question: To what extent has Netanyahu deteriorated? It has reached the point where even a response from a prime minister, in order to preserve his dignity, is not uttered.

Netanyahu, despite thousands of disagreements, knows what the majority of the people want: the release of detainees, and he also knows what is important and useful to the people.

But he follows Ben Gvir and Bezalel #Smotrich, because that is what is good politically for Netanyahu for obvious reasons.

Before I refused to serve and spent 110 days in prison, people tried to convince me to join the army so I could be the "nice soldier" at the checkpoints. They believed I could make a difference in how Palestinians were treated and many served in the army for that reason. As if the oppression, occupation or massacre can be moral if the soldiers were more moral. The truth is, there is no moral form of oppression. It is not about individual soldiers or units in the West Bank or Gaza and how they treat the Palestinians, it is the fact that there are soldiers there in the first place. The whole Israeli military is responsible for systematic oppression, occupation, massacre in Gaza and ethnic cleansing.

The World Health Organization (WHO) expressed grave concern over the potential for a #bloodbath in #Rafah, southern #Gaza, due to a threatened Israeli ground invasion.

The organization highlighted that only 33 percent of Gaza's 36 hospitals and 30 percent of primary healthcare centers are functioning to some extent, amidst ongoing attacks and shortages of vital medical supplies, fuel, and staff.

#WHO and its partners are urgently working to restore and expand health services, but the already strained health system would struggle to handle a surge in casualties and fatalities resulting from a Rafah incursion.

Gazan authorities still say aid deliveries far less than what Washington and Tel Aviv claim, with the latter claiming an average of 300-400 trucks a day.

Head of #Gaza's Government Media Office Maarouf says average of 163 trucks a day only are passing through to Gaza, with at least 1,000 trucks needed to make up for dire lack of aid faced by 7 months of siege. Only 419 trucks entered north Gaza in all of April alone.

Going through my social media, it seems like Gaza doesn't even exist.

It's all about student protests and police brutality in US.

In the mean time, the stories of Maas Graves, mass execution of healthcare staff and mutilated bodies of palestinians in Khan Yunis have all but disappeared from the news.

No news about starvation.
No news about murder of aid workers by IDF.
No news of bombing tent cities with fire bombs.
No news of Netanyahu ignoring the peace proposal.
No news that Biden keep sending weapons and money to Netanyahu.

I guess it's good that we see the student protests are spreading, but it should not be forgetting WHY they are protesting and what over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are forced to live every day.

Israel is setting up a complex checkpoint system that will prevent men of “military age” from fleeing Rafah in preparation for its offensive on the southern Gaza border town, a senior Western official told Middle East Eye.

Nicaragua brought the case arguing that by providing arms and other support to Israel, Germany is failing to prevent possible genocide against Palestinians in Israel's war with #Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

So much for genocide preventation.

Once again we witness the impunity of the apartheid genocidal regime of Israel and it's global network of supporters.

Hardcore Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich: "We must obliterate #Rafah, Deir al-Balah, and Nuseirat. The memory of the Amalek must be erased. No partial destruction will suffice; only absolute and complete devastation."

He has strong position and support in Israeli government. Do not expect him accepting anything less even if the hostage exchange deal have reached.

They want to make Gaza unhabitable. PERIOD.

Nothing short of that is defeat and unacceptable for fascist coalition government of #Netanyahu.

But #GenocideJoe and Israeli friendly media want us to believe that the negotiations are about a lasting ceasefire, removal of all Israeli forces from Gaza and letting displaced Palestinians to move back to northern #Gaza.
