Algeria: Ministry of Foreign Affairs:We strongly condemn the Zionist entity's army's violation of Syria's sovereignty and its aggression against its lands after seizing the buffer zone

We condemn the repeated attacks by the occupation army against Syrian facilities and institutions, which have recently escalated

The Zionist entity is trying to impose a new reality that is consistent with the expansionist and settlement policy pursued by the occupation authorities

We call on the international community to take a unified position that preserves the security, safety and territorial integrity of #Syria

How a massacre of Algerians in Paris was covered up 17 October 1961

Around 30,000 Algerians had taken to the streets of Paris in a peaceful protest against a curfew, and calling for independence nearly seven years into the war against French rule in North Africa, which had occasionally spilled onto the streets of the French capital.

On 17 October 1961, the police killed at least 100 protesters, some of whom were thrown into the River Seine, making it one of the darkest pages of #France's chequered colonial #history.

#Algeria's envoy to the #UN Security Council: "The crime against the World Central Kitchen in #Gaza is not surprising because the attack was carried out with premeditation."

I still can't get over the fact that horrendous war crimes of Israel in and around #AlShifa_Hospial has been completely sidestepped and forgotten for the murder of 7 foreign aid workers.

The #US has blocked a statement, put forward by #Algeria and backed by all #UNSC’s 15 members except the US, to the #UN Security Council that would have condemned Israel for the killing of more than 100 Palestinians awaiting food aid in northern Gaza.

The US claimed it is trying to verify the “circumstances around how people died” to see if “we can find some language that everyone can agree on”.

This reminds me of the days after Saddam used chemical weapons against Halanbja in norther Iraq back in 1988, when US and UK used the EXACT same language to prevent the UN to condemn the attacks and blamed the "both sides" for the "loss of lives".

Back then the president was republican, now it's democract. So I guess, US foreign policy doesn't change much from the 2, when it comes to supporting "strategic" partners of US (at the time).

Saudi Arabia's export group, the Gulf Research Center, has just developed, together with a senior French official, an exit plan for the Gaza crisis, several sources said.

The confidential document published by the newspaper Le Monde mentions the exfiltration of the "military and security" leaders of Hamas to #Algeria.

The French newspaper is probably referring to Mohammed Deif, commander of the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamist movement Hamas, and possibly also Yahya Sinwar, leader of #Hamas in #Gaza.

Supposedly, the choice of #Algiers is due to the good relations it maintains with #Iran and #Qatar and its "security capacity" to control the possible "activities" of these leaders.

The wok of Obama and Hillary: Twenty-Seven Migrants Found Dead in Libyan Desert

The crisis began at the beginning of July, when at least 1,200 migrants and asylum seekers of sub-Saharan origin were detained in mass raids in the city of Sfax, the main starting point of the migratory route by sea, and expelled to border areas, also with neighboring #Algeria.

Libyan authorities found 27 bodies of migrants dead since the beginning of the migration crisis in July.

Since July, there has been an increase in the flow of migrants arriving in #Libya from #Tunisia. The Libyan National Human Rights Committee believes that many of the migrants arriving at its borders from the neighboring country may have been forcibly expelled, forcing them to spend days in the desert without any possibility of survival.

Anadolu Agency: Algerian President Tebboune rejects any possible military intervention in #Niger

— "Algerian President Abdelmadjid #Tebboune has rejected any external military intervention in Niger, where a #military coup overthrew President Mohamed #Bazoum last week.

"A military intervention could ignite the whole #Sahel region and Algeria will not use force with its neighbors," Tabboune said in an interview with local media on Saturday.

“No solution is possible in Niger without the participation of Algeria, as it is concerned by what is happening in this neighboring country,” he said, adding: “Algeria is willing to help the Nigeriens restore the constitutional legitimacy.”"
