Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions ( #BDS) Movement : We welcome the news that the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA World) has removed a bid to host its next world conference in apartheid #TelAviv and suspended the membership of complicit Israeli organization Aguda.

The Board of ILGA, a federation of 1,900 #LGBTQIA+ organizations in 160 countries and territories, voted unanimously to remove the bid by Aguda from the vote at its 2024 World Conference in Cape Town, South Africa, November 11-15.

The announcement of Aguda’s bid to host the ILGA World Conference in Tel Aviv as Israel commits genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza, escalates its violent apartheid rule over all Palestinians and conducts massacres in Lebanon, provoked widescale condemnation among ILGA member organizations and board members.

Former ILGA Secretary General Phumi Mtetwa withdrew as a keynote speaker from this year’s conference over the bid, saying, “Apartheid is Apartheid, and there's no room for negotiation or tolerance, especially not from within the LGBTQI+ movement.” ILGA board members have been vocal in their opposition, condemning the proposal as “trying to blatantly #pinkwash war crimes which does not represent our movement that stands in strong solidarity against any oppression.”

ILGA further voted to suspend Aguda as it reviews its compliance with the ILGA constitution. ILGA’s review process can come to no other conclusion than to expel Aguda and all organizations complicit in Israel’s crimes.

Aguda has a history of pinkwashing Israel’s crimes, even defining the Israeli #military as “one of the more progressive organizations in Israel” in terms of LGBTQIA+ acceptance during Israel’s genocide, and promotes activities in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian #WestBank.

ILGA apologized for the anger and harm done to its communities, recognizing “the historical experience with #apartheid and #colonialism in #SouthAfrica: even the possibility of voting on such a bid in their home country would have been at odds with the unequivocal solidarity for the Palestinian people.”

We thank the many South African organizations and all #ILGA members who immediately recognized the Aguda bid for what it was, an attempt to pinkwash Israel’s war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, and pushed ILGA to do better.

Newspaper headlines in the UK on Wednesday were dominated by reports of a massacre committed by Hamas fighters at a kibbutz in southern Israel in which the attackers were widely alleged to have beheaded babies.

But the reports – which a number of newspapers themselves acknowledged were unverified and which have been disputed and denounced by other journalists – have led to complaints that the publications could have been reporting “fake news”, “acting as a proxy for Israeli propaganda” and stoking Islamophobia.

Concerns about the accuracy of details in the stories were raised by Francesca Albanese, the United Nations’ special rapporteur for the occupied Palestinian territories, who called for journalists to show caution in their reporting.

“Divulging unverified information risks to escalate tensions & endanger lives in a volative [volatile] context,” Albanese wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

It took almost months for the western media to retract the lies they spread, no apologies were made. They just moved on to broadcast new lies and cover up new atrocities.

In the most heroic act of self defense, Israeli military destroyed the flower roundabout in Nablus in occupied West Bank.

The criminal actions of IDF in occupied west bank is not receiving much publicity, but they are attacking every town in under Palestinian control under the cover of fighting "Terrorists" but in reality, they are destroying roads, infrastructure, bakeries, schools, electric poles, cellphone base station and hospitals and medical centers.

These actions can not in any way counted as self-defense or justified in a fight against Hamas or even the PA, these actions are to make lives of Palestinian unbearable and to punish them in the most barbaric ways.

And again, the so called civilized world is standing by silent and in compliance fully behind these atrocities while punishing and muzzling those who raise their voices against these crimes.

They are starving them, they destroying their crops, they are setting their olive trees on fire, they prevent them from working, they destroy water and sanitation system and now they are stealing their money in the name of anti terrorism.

The occupation army announces the confiscation of millions of shekels from money exchange shops in the West Bank. The Monetary Authority issued a statement in which it confirmed that money exchange shops are subject to its supervision and that it It refutes any allegations or pretexts put forward by the occupation authorities to justify its actions in targeting the #Palestinian banking sector and considers that the continued attack on entities subject to the supervision of the Monetary Authority represents an act that violates all international norms, laws, charters and agreements, and aims to undermine confidence in the #Palestinian banking and banking sector.

In the mean time, the cowards and complicit in crime world leaders standing idle and watch Israel destroy the lives of millions in #Gaza and occupied #WestBank without any meaningful reaction and instead working hard to silence and punish those who condemn and expose those crimes.
