Barbarian IDF in action : investigation by the Hebrew newspaper #Haaretz: The occupation army refuses to protect aid trucks coming to the #Gaza Strip, and bombs the #Palestinian police, when they advanced to protect the aid from looting

Israel is maximizing their total control over aid entering Gaza to starve as many Palestinians as possible.

By preventing the local police to handle the food, they push desperate people to attack the food in poor depression to grab aa much as they can for their families and themselves.

Instead of letting local activists to take the food and distribute it to those in need, they are creating the modern version of the #HungerGame while the world stands by and watch the close to a million people in northern Gaza to fight each other in a desperate attempt to survive.

This is the entertainment for the evil monsters in Israel and the "civilized" world.

#Haaretz Editorial : If It Looks Like Ethnic Cleansing, It Probably Is

For three and a half weeks, Israeli forces have been besieging the northern Gaza Strip. Israel has almost completely blocked the entry of humanitarian aid, thereby starving the hundreds of thousands of people who live there. Information emerging from the besieged area is only partial, because ever since the war began, Israel has barred journalists from entering Gaza.

But even based on the little that has been revealed to the public, two things can be said about the siege. First, the scale of the civilian casualties from the army's daily bombings of towns and refugee camps in northern Gaza – children, women, elderly people and men who are innocent of any crime – is enormous.

'Reserve Diary: #Hebron 1989' was perhaps the first Israeli film to break the silence on soldiers' illegal actions in the West Bank – so how come almost no one has seen it in 35 years? Its director, Yishai Shuster, reveals all.”

Israel v. Telegram : According to this article in #Haaretz, which was published last week, #Israel has had limited success in removing content from #Telegram compared to other platforms like #Facebook and #TikTok.

While #Telegaram has become a major platform for disseminating leaked information and Hamas propaganda, Israeli officials have attempted to contact it's founder, Pavel Durov, to address the issue of Hamas-related content on the platform. While Telegram didn't remove all the content, it did block access to some Hamas channels from within Israel.

Israel has managed to remove several Telegram channels that were publishing stolen information from the Ministry of Justice. However, the effectiveness of these efforts is limited, as hackers find new ways to distribute the information.

The article mentions that Israel's approach differs from Western countries, which tend to focus on prosecuting leakers rather than preventing the spread of leaked information.
Israel's efforts to remove content from Telegram and other platforms are seen as partially successful but face challenges, especially with the use of decentralized networks and servers based in non-cooperative countries like Russia.

#Israel / We Served on Israel's Sde Teiman Base. Here's What We Did to Gazans Detained There

This investigative report in #Haaretz contains disturbing testimonies from several #IDF soldiers and medical personnel who served at the Sde Teiman detention facility (allegedly torture camp) in Israel, where Palestinian detainees from Gaza (mostly civilians with no relation to the Hamas, Nukhbah or October 7) are held.

The testimonials document the inhumane conditions, psychological abuse and practices, like constant restraint, sensory deprivation, and threat of violence. The
testimonies mention being instructed to view the detainees as non-human, to enable or justify abusive behavior. They also reveal the issue of inadequate medical care, lack of oversight, whihc allow abusive acts (often occurred in areas without camera coverage,) and little accountability for mistreatment.

More interestingly, soldiers show mixed reactions. Some were disturbed by what they witnessed, others seemed to accept or even enjoy the abusive treatment of detainees. Some personnel tried to justify the harsh treatment by citing "security needs", or what's really at play, revenge for the October 7 attacks.

There's also indication that conditions at Sde Teiman may have marginally improved in recent months. The publication of this report, given existing international awareness of Sde Teiman, could be strategically timed to demonstrate the functioning of Israel's legal system and internal oversight mechanisms. While efforts were made to limit information flow about the facility, the controlled release of such reports can serve Israel's interests by portraying a degree of transparency and self-correction. However, a more effective approach to ensuring humane treatment and adherence to international law would be to implement independent, international oversight of these detention facilities.

The choice of imagery by Haaretz for this report is notably sterile and less disturbing compared to surveillance camera footage shown on Channel 12 news earlier, showing detainees lying on the ground in diapers.

For some reason, I am now blocked from accessing Haaretz Hebrew pages.

Have to use incognito mode with VPN to be able to access those pages. This is something new, I have always had access to them that I use as good source of news from inside Israel (with auto translation) but this is going to make it harder and time consuming now.

#Haaretz: #Washington will guarantee Israel the resumption of fighting after the first stage

"The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Monday morning that the #US administration had expressed its readiness in principle to provide a written commitment to Israel that would allow it to resume fighting after the first stage of the exchange deal"

Isn't US just great or what? This is just an unbelievable level of inhumanity and unconditional support of the genocidal maniac #Netanyahu and his monstrous regime of war criminal and #JewishISIS ministers.

What kind of sick society backs up a regime that openly support the right to rape civilian #hostages with glowing metal rods and letting them die in pain while other hostages watching and the soldiers cheer and laugh?

What makes them think Palestinians would accept the pause in genocide (that's what their ceasefire actually means) just so they can get killed by the well rested war criminals filled with newly delivered weapons and cash from #GemocideJoe?

We are living in a twilight zone where people who act like moral guardians of the free world when dealing with #Russia, #China or #Iran become mass rape supporters, starvation supporters, murdering innocent children in shelters and make shift tents supporters and most importantly, weapons, protection and money providers to those commiting those crimes with pride and in the open.

Seriously what the Fuck happened to people?

How did they become so openly and shamelessly evil?

"Journalist threatened over reporting on spy chief and ICC, Israeli newspaper says - Haaretz says journalist warned of ‘consequences’ if he reported on attempts by head of the Mossad to intimidate ex-prosecutor of ICC"

"Israel’s leading left-wing newspaper, #Haaretz, has said unnamed senior security officials threatened one of its investigative reporters if he reported on attempts by the former head of the #Mossad to intimidate the ex-prosecutor of the international criminal court.

Amid growing concern over Israel’s censorship regime, enforced by the military censor’s office and by gag orders issued by the courts, Haaretz published an article on Wednesday with blacked out words and phrases to demonstrate the scale of redactions.

In an article published on Thursday, investigative reporter Gur Megiddo described how two years ago, security officials blocked an attempt by the paper to report efforts by the former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen to threaten the then #ICC prosecutor Fatou Bensouda. Details of the operation to influence Bensouda were revealed this week by the Guardian and Israeli media partners +972 magazines and Local Call."

“In practice, a terrorist is anyone the IDF has killed in the areas in which its forces operate."

Israel’s killing zones

However, over a week ago, other documentation of the incident surfaced on Al-Jazeera. It showed four men, not one, walking together on a wide path, in civilian clothing. There is no one nearby, only the ruins of houses where people once lived. This apocalyptic silence in the Khan Yunis area was shattered by a loud explosion. Two of the men were killed instantly. Two others were wounded and tried to continue walking. Perhaps they thought they had been saved, but seconds later, a bomb was dropped on one of them. You can then see the other one falling to his knees and then, a boom, fire and smoke.

This story is but one example, made public, of the manner in which Palestinians are killed by IDF gunfire in the Gaza Strip. The number of dead Gazans is now estimated to be over 32,000. According to the army, some 9,000 of these are terrorists.
A host of reserve and standing army commanders who have talked to Haaretz cast doubt on the claim that all of these were terrorists. They imply that the definition of terrorist is open to a wide range of interpretation. It’s quite possible that Palestinians who never held a gun in their lives were elevated to the rank of “terrorist” posthumously, at least by the IDF.

“In practice, a terrorist is anyone the IDF has killed in the areas in which its forces operate,” says a reserve officer who has served in Gaza.

In the heart of a kill zone

The combat zone is a key term. This is an area in which a force sets itself up, usually in an abandoned house, with the area surrounding it becoming a closed military area, but with no clear marking as such. Another term for such areas is “kill zones.”

“In every combat zone, commanders define such kill zones,” says the reserve officer. “This means clear red lines that no one who is not from the IDF may cross, so that our forces in the area are not hit.” The boundaries of these kill zones are not determined in advance, nor is their distance from the house in which the forces are situated.
