Deadly Flooding in Central and Eastern Europe Wreaks Havoc From Austria to Romania
Downpours from low-pressure system Storm Boris led to some of the most serious flooding in almost three decades across Central and Eastern Europe.
Austria, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic have all been experiencing extreme rainfall. A state of emergency has been declared by the Polish government, reported CNN.
According to Polish news agency PAP, Prime Minister Donald Tusk has secured $260 million in emergency funding for the country’s hardest hit regions.
The electricity and hot water were cut off for thousands in the Czech Republic when authorities closed heating plants due to the floods. Near the country’s border with Poland, 280,000 residents in Ostrava were left with no hot water, CNN Prima said.

Wasn't expecting this to happen because of global warming
I remember having a discussion with a geologist professor back in Sweden in early 90s when she was saying that the consequences of global warming are not known at the moment and everything we know is based of the models they have created which can be very different than what nature will "chose" as the soil gets hotter and changes things into uncharted territories.
I'm sure she wasn't even expecting such problems caused so early in the process of the global heating we are just starting to see.
But hey, look, Russia is coming for you and Israel needs your support and China wants to take the world. Forget about global warming and climate change. Those are not money making problems for the elites.

Mexico just observed its hottest day in May.
A brutal 51.1°C (124.7°F). This is less than 1°C from the all-time national record for any month.
Sadly this heatwave is far from over...

99% of climate scientists agree the climate is warming and humans, mainly due to the burning of fossil fuels, are the cause. BUT in the US, only 55% of people know that virtually all experts agree. Called the consensus gap, fueled by deliberate disinformation.

Climate action is the best way to defeat Putin
According to the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit (ECIU), the quickest way to reduce our dependence on Russian gas is not by ramping up drilling of North Sea gas fields, but by rolling out electric heat-pumps and home insulation.
Heat-pumps provide heating for homes and water for much cheaper than gas boilers, by using electricity.
The ECIU’s conservative analysis shows that the 4% of gas demand Britain gets from Russia could be wiped out in just five years by installing heat-pumps and proper insulation in 6.5 million homes. Heat-pumps are now already cheaper to operate than gas boilers – so they would not only get rid of gas dependence, but make heating homes far cheaper.

Dutch climate scientists say the world is FOBAR
Dutch scientists say the global heating is already above the agreed two degrees and us expected to reach at least three degrees.
This temperature increase will lead to catastrophic events that threaten life on earth as we know it.
Cheap gel film pulls buckets of drinking water per day from thin air
Water scarcity is a major problem for much of the world’s population, but with the right equipment drinking water can be wrung out of thin air. Researchers at the University of Texas at Austin have now demonstrated a low-cost gel film that can pull many liters of water per day out of even very dry air.
The gel is made up of two main ingredients that are cheap and common – cellulose, which comes from the cell walls of plants, and konjac gum, a widely used food additive. Those two components work together to make a gel film that can absorb water from the air and then release it on demand, without requiring much energy.
