Misty ist ja einer der sog. Standard Songs.
Ein Lied, wo man wenigstens grob wissen sollte wie es geht, wenn man Musiker sein will.
Als Standard gibt es demzufolge sehr viel Versionen dieses Liedes. Ehrlich gesagt selten in gut. Selbst die Großen der Musik bekommen meist nicht mehr als einen Schlager. Die Version von Quincy Jones und der super jungen Lesley Gore ist, find ich ein absolutes Meisterwerk. Vielleicht nicht auf den ersten Blick, ich hab es auch erst gelernt. Es ist das Großartige, was die Menschheit kann. Neben Krieg und Überheblichkeit! Danke Lesley!
