Released 50 years ago today, 4 March 1974, ABBA released "Waterloo" in Sweden, and one month later as their first international release. The chart-topping title track was recorded in Swedish, English, French and German (there is also a French+Swedish release.)
The Swedish version won the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest,
