Coalition made in heaven (or CIA's headquarter)
In the past 43 years, US has worked hard to find a puppet, strong enough to replace the regime of Iran.
After each uprising in Iran, from the civil war of the 80s, to reformist movement by Khatami, to election protests of early 2000 and now during the recent protests, they worked hard to push for Reza Pahlavi, the son of former dictator Mohammad Reza shah as their main puppet.
The latest uprising in Iran has been the strongest and the longest (but nit the bloodiest) uprising in IRI's post 1980s history.
From the start, the charlatans like Reza Pahlavi and Masih Alinejad tried to take credit for the protest and act like they are the ones "leading it".
The radical push by specially Alinejad, the Trump loving , neo-con paid "reporter" pushed the protest toward confrontation and the peaceful demonstration of the (mostly) women in the country were sidestepped by assassination of IRI police and officials, attacks against government building, mosques and police/paramilitary buildings as well as the attack against religious mullahs all over the country.
The recent "coalition" in the US, by Reza Pahlavi and Alinejad has now got support of Ali Karimi former football player, Golshifteh Farahani the Hollywood actress and some lesser known people is trying to create a US (western) backed alternative to the IRI regime who also openly terrorize anyone who is questioning actions and roles of these people online and in person.
They are also behind most of the fake stories about the death sentence against 1500 protesters, calling those who received death sentence for protesters, despite the fact that they were involved in actions that led to death of many IRI police and Basij members making it harder for those who want to prevent the death penalty to help and save the lives of those people.
It is really sad to see that people (specially media in west) give publicity and credit to these people, specially Alinejad, who has been in close contact with extremists Christian Taliban leaders such as Pompeo, Bolton and other high ranking GOP members in US, but (sadly) also many center and left wing politicians and activists in Europe who seems to ignore her background and those who fund her activities.
The protests in Iran has slowed down and the regime seems to have caught many of the key players in the attacks against the police and military but also many activists in the country, except in Baluchestan region by the border of Pakistan where militant groups seems to have escalated their attacks against the regime and the IRGC and Basij has responded with extreme brutality.
The situation in Kurdish regions (mostly Kurdistan Province, but also Kermanshah province as well) is also escalating into open armed conflict between the regime and organized and unorganized groups in various parts of the provinces.
Iran, after the initial protest, had a chance to isolate and push the extremists in the regime to give up their iron grip of the country and many voices inside the regime were also were talking about the possibility of easing the strict dress codes pushed by Reisi and the hardliner, but sadly, those voices are now silenced since they no longer see the uprising as a possibility to reform, but a call for regime change. The opposition seems to be in denial or completely ignoring the fact that regime, as uinpopular as it is, still holds a sold base among the religious groups, military and IRGC who are now united against anyone who question their authority.
I am afraid that with the way things going now, the opposition groups, including the Maoist/Islamist cult of Rajavi (MKO/NCRI) as well as the radical groups such as Kumelah, PKK and Ansarollah turning Iran into a open civil war, similar to those in the 80s.
These are just my thoughts, and I have to say that I left engaging in Politics in Iran many years ago and I am more of an outside observer than a person who participates or engages in discussion or actions.
