And fighter jets will be shot down very quickly if the opposing force has sophisticated SAM [surface to air missiles] or drones, as shown by the Russia-Ukraine conflict.”
Musk went even further with his contempt for crewed fighters, posting, “Fighter jets do have the advantage of helping Air Force officers get laid. Drones are much less effective in this regard.”
He is not totally wrong on this issue.

I can't remember this ever happening before, so Elon Musk may (try to) set a dangerous precedent here. The key may now be the user agreement. Does it say that all accounts belong to the company running the platform? If yes, I would expect a large user movement away from X, because your account can be snatched by the big boss whenever he feels so.
If that statement is however not part of the user agreement and X wants to enforce that view, it would affect all users on all social media platforms. That's a can of worms even the richest person in the world may not want to open...
Even the most generous interpretation of the tariff saber rattling is really bad. "He's just doing that to get a better negotiating position." Umm, we have treaties in place delineating these things. The current one being tweaks to NAFTA called USMCA which *Trump 1.0* negotiated. Blowing up treaties willy nilly just makes them not even worth the effort/paper they are printed on which everyone takes note of. That is *the best case scenario* about what Trump is doing with this 25-50% across the board tariff announcement today. It's all down hill from there, into the depths of pocket lining for him and Musk. I bring up Musk specifically because the auto manufacture least affected by this is if it is implemented, you guessed it, Tesla.
