Alle zuvor entdeckten Tausendfüßler kamen auf maximal 750 Füße. Damit hält der Neuling den absoluten Rekord in der bekannten Fauna: Kein anderes Tier besitzt mehr Füße."

#Menschen - Sind ein #Problem
Jemand in meinem kollegialen #Bekanntenkreis tut sich damit hervor, dass sie mit ihrem 4000€-E-Mountainbike querfeldein durch die #Botanik brettert, was ja so schön sei. Ich habe da schon mehrfach angemerkt von wegen #Schutz von #Fauna und #Flora, aber egal.
Jetzt sprach sie das große Problem an, dass sie bei so einer Tour plötzlich vor einer Herde #Rotwild gestanden hätte, und da die ja vorne durchaus so spitze Dinger dran hätten, wäre dies ja eine gefährliche #Situation. Ob denn die #Jägerschaft da nicht was dran ändern könne?

La chasse au loup désormais interdite dans toute l'Espagne
"Il y a toujours eu des loups, mais à présent, ils nous dévorent". Depuis mercredi, chasser le loup est interdit dans toute l'Espagne, une décision qui en ravit certains, mais en désole d'autres, comme dans la Sierra de la Culebra, paradis à la fois du loup ibérique et de l'élevage extensif.

As today's a holiday, we #cycled along the western side of the #ExeEstuary. As it's only accessible to #cyclists and #pedestrians, it's a lot cleaner and quieter than in town. It therefore is a great place to see #flora and #fauna, particularly #birds. I'll be several images of today's excursion but to start off with, here's one with a #stonehatch as the subject and a couple of cyclists approaching.
