Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich implies he believes that blocking humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip is “justified and moral” even if it causes 2 million civilians to die of hunger, adding however that the international community won’t allow this to happen.

“We are bringing in aid because there is no choice,” Smotrich says at a conference in Yad Binyamin hosted by the Israel Hayom outlet. “We can’t, in the current global reality, manage a war. Nobody will let us cause 2 million civilians to die of hunger even though it might be justified and moral until our hostages are returned. Humanitarian in exchange for humanitarian is morally justified, but what can we do? We live today in a certain reality, we need international legitimacy for this war

Israel have this formula to calculate how much aid they can let in to be slightly above international starvation level for Palestinians in Gaza.

They only allow enough food to keep them alive and suffering, not too much to actually solve the starvation problem.

And of course, they use the food trucks as target practice too "when they are bored".

Seriously WTF is wrong with Germany?

I understand that they want to support Israel.
I understand that they stuffer from holocaust guilt.
I understand that they hate Hamas.
I understand they can't back ICC.

But how the fuck can they get so low to protect the war criminal Netanyahu? This is about him. It a case against him. It is case about his war crime,. It is case about him pushing IDF (who is happy to flo)to starve 2 million Palestinians.

This is a humanitarian catastrophe on top of the 9+ months of ongoing catastrophe.

It's just infuriating and sad to watch this happen while all major newspapers in Europe talking about football and Olympics.

There are over 300000 people still living in GAZA city. They have nowhere to go. There are no safe places anywhere and most of them are starving after months of Israeli blockade of food and water entering the city.

Does anyone really care anymore?
