Bayer pushes for liability shield amidst Roundup-related cancer lawsuits

Glyphosate: The cancer-linked chemical lurking in your produce
Glyphosate’s widespread use stems from its effectiveness as an herbicide, temporarily boosting crop yields in treated fields. However, it’s crucial to note that many herbicides lack the carcinogenic hazards associated with glyphosate. Additionally, organic farming, which avoids the use of Roundup and similar chemicals, has demonstrated scalability and cost reduction.

Unfortunately, the risk extends beyond field workers directly exposed to glyphosate. Residual glyphosate persists on most produce, with certain crops, like potatoes, posing significantly higher contamination risks by the time they reach consumers’ kitchens.

This pic was unearthed in Crete not that long ago. As he suggests in his book survivors went to other places because #Atlantis was a great trade and commerce #system. So when something did happen to Atlantis there is discussion even 4000 years later by someone talking about the strange Atlanteans. To me that pic says a lot.

The #sword and #shield and that symbol that sure resembles that natural structure we're talking about could be saying that ancient Crete was under the protection of Atlantis and their commerce system.

Or it could be saying #Crete helped #Greece and their army fight Atlantis?

Testing Chernobyl fungi as a radiation shield for astronauts

Without the Earth's protective atmosphere and magnetic field, humans would not live very long in space, on the moon or on Mars. So scientists have been looking for viable ways to protect astronauts. In this new effort, the researchers have built on research that showed some kinds of fungus are able to flourish in a very highly radioactive place here on Earth—inside the destroyed reactors at the Chernobyl site in Ukraine. Testing of several types of the fungus has showed that they not only survive in the former reactors, but actually flourish. They have the ability to absorb radiation and to convert it into energy for their own use. To look into the possibility of using such types of fungus as a shield for humans, the researchers arranged with NASA to send a sample of one of the types of fungus found at Chernobyl—cladosporium sphaerospermum—to the International Space Station.

I was not able to WRITE to my external hard drives that are connected to my NVIDIA SHIELD TV from my Linux Mint notebook over my network.
I would get a "dropped connection" error. With the release and improvement of Trisquel in version 8.0, i decided to give it a shot.
I was able to write to the drives connect to the NVIDIA SHIELD. I am not however able to download torrents directly to them. When I try to set the download location in Transmission, the NVIDIA shield does not appear in the "Computer" section.

Interesting to note that Linux Mint would not even write to them in the file explorer but Trisquel had no problem.
Trisquel is FLOSS and contains not even binar blobs of proprietary code in the linux kernel and is often criticized for lack of multimedia support and extra features that are only available with proprietary software.....so its very nice to see it working better out of the box than linux mint!!!

If anyone could help me with this, it would be very much appreciated.
Crypto reward for anyone who can successfully help.

Thank you.
