Official statement by the #IRGC's Public Relations Department in regards to assassination of #Mousavi in #Damascus

'In the name of God, the Exhalted.

We bring to the awareness of the noble and heroic Iranian nation, that a few hours ago, in a criminal airstrike by the fake and child-killing Zionist regime on Damascus, Brigadier-General Sayyed Razi Mousavi, one of the IRGC's experienced military advisers, was martyred in #Syria.

He was one of the comrades of martyr general Hajj Qassem Soleimani, and was responsible for supporting the resistance front in Syria.

Congratulations and condolances on the martyrdom of this heroic commander to his noble family and the commanders and fighters of the Islamic Resistance Front. It is emphasized that the usurping and barbaric Zionist regime will pay for this crime.'

Reza #Moisavi is one of the oldest and most senior member of Iranian Revolutionary guards with a long history of actions in Iraq and Syria fighting the #ISIS alongside Soleimani specially during the battle to prevent the fall of Baghdad into the hands of them.

Isrsel has not officially admitted to the killing, but sources in Israel saying that IDF is on high alert in northern Isrsel and occupied Golan heights awaiting a retaliation from groups close to Iran in the region.

IDF killed another IRGC general in Damascus yesterday

This is the 3rd IRGC general killed by Israeli attacks in Syria since October 7.

The last night killing was right before he was going Lebanon to coordinate between different groups in Syria and Lebanon against Isrsel.
