Meinem Peter
Zwei Seelen im Zeitenraum vereint.Dein Werk erblühte, Danke der Nacht;
Aus ihrem Schweigen gebiert sich Wort,
des Menschen Dank dem Werden, dem Sein
Und Vergehen, mit Schöpfermacht.
Einst rauntest Du mir zu «Du bist, und das genügt.»
Tomorrow is the last and private celebration of Peter's 80th birthday, and as he is my closest friend life presented me with a poem, which I will read after a text by the photographer of the Steinmühle book, Johannes Zürcher.

hm... recently Andrea et moi visited one of the most beautiful and remote places in the Muehlviertel...
the tree without leaves is a very old cherry tree, diameter of the trunk is about 1.3m/3.9in... a huge branch has fallen off...
the farmhouse further down has no electricity and telephone cables... Markus produces electricity with a diesel engine.
... had to give an honorary speech twice at the presentation of the book "Steinmühle: Stille - Frieden - Kunst" (Stone Mill: Silence - Peace - Art) in the Blue Hall of Steinmühle, which was published on the occasion of Peter's 80th birthday. The book has 288 pages (only the paper cost $8,500), Katharina et moi worked a lot on all the various texts.
Ha! you can only see Katharina and Andrea from behind... and, it's all Katharina's instruments, built by Beat Weyeneth, except the cello, which was played by Davide Zavatti.
The blue thick-glass-windows were created by Théo Kerg 1985 when he stayed in Steinmühle for one week. It was such wonderful experience to work with such great artist. Already in Basel he had come up with the name Salle Bleue. But, the photo cannot give an impression of the light-power of these 8 blue windows...

... before the kammerer kreuz we gonna visit the Kogl, a very remote and beautiful place near Weitersfelden... there I planted this eagle winged Yew as a small tree about 1998...
Yesterday Andrea et moi went on a stone hiking trail in Langschlag... took us about 2.5 hours but, we did not do all 11km.
I love the Waldviertel, not only because my paternal gran is from there but, it is such calm and quiet land mostly covered by forest.
The one stone in the middle of the pic is the Wackelstein/wobble stone...
On Thursday September 22 we wanted to walk along the east shore of the Hallstätter See. I took us quite a while to find the small road to a parking lot, it was a dead end, that's why at first did not find it.
In the background you can see the Dachstein...
#Navratri Day 7
October 2, 2022, Sunday
Navratri color of the day - #Orange
Worshipping Goddess Navdurga wearing Orange color on Sunday bestows the person with qualities such as warmth and exuberance. This color is full of positive energy and keeps the person upbeat.
On the day 7 of Navratri, devotees worship #Goddess #Kalaratri, the seventh form of Goddess Maa #Durga. Maa Kalaratri (sometimes spelled as Kaalratri) is believed to be the most ferocious avatar of #Navdurga who destroys ignorance and darkness that are spread around the universe. Kaal means who kills the demon, and Ratri means night, which forms the name ‘Kalaratri’. The seventh day of Navratri is celebrated as ‘Maha Saptami.’ Devotees believe that Maa Kalaratri helps overcome all obstacles in achieving success.
About Maa Kalaratri
Goddess Kalaratri has a dark complexion and she rides on a donkey. Her idol represents four hands. Her right hands are in Abhaya and Varada Mudra; she carries the sword and the deadly iron hook in her left hands. Although Goddess Kalaratri is believed to be the most ferocious form of Goddess Parvati, she blesses her devotees with Abhaya and Varada Mudras. Due to her auspicious power within, her ferocious form – Goddess Kalaratri is also referred to as Goddess Shubhankari.
Navratri Day 7: Date and Shubh Muhurat
The 7th day of Navratri falls on 2 October. The auspicious Brahma Muhurt will begin from 4:37 AM to 5:26 AM whereas the Amrit Kalam will appear from 7:50 PM to 9:20 PM. Vijaya Muhurat, on the other hand, is from 2:09 PM to 2:56 PM.
Navratri Day 7: Puja Vidhi
This day is considered very auspicious to perform the Navagraha Puja. Devotees perform the puja using perfumed water, dry fruits, Ganga jal, panchamrita, incense sticks, flowers, rice and bhog. Her favourite flower is night-blooming jasmine and is thus offered during the puja.

Navratri Day 7: Bhog
Jaggery or sweets made with jaggery are offered as bhog to Maa Kaalratri on the 7th day of Navratri. The prasad is given to Brahmins as well along with Dakshina.
Tomorrow Andrea et moi are going to be in our beloved house in Altaussee again for 10 days, together with Katharina and Peter (who turns 80 in a few days)...
it is the little house, the big one has ben rebuilt by an Englishman who inherited a private bank from his aunt in London...
I will be back around October 4... wishing all of you some really good times.
From 1981 - 1988 #YA working as a curative #pedagogue at Sonnhalde, #Switzerland, with the heaviest #autistic #boy... finally we were 3 men to handle him 24/7... lots of stories...oiyoiyoiyoiyoiy...

There is one painting in my kitchen, right opposite my orange fauteuil, at which I look at every morning when having my 2 espressi and fags... Renée gave it to me as a present in Steinmuehle, 1988. It is very dear to me.
The oil painting is 17,5x23,5cm / 6.89x9.25in.
today had a friend forging damascus steel knives... actually he's a manager and director in a US company in Linz but, his passion is forging... so on and off he comes to improve his skills...
... and since i still have leftovers from the 1 ton of coke in the container, he filled the bucket for me again... funny thing is that in the plain coke there were growing 2 tress, a birch and a willow... had the birch replanted at Andrea's and let the willow do her own thing > she died.
It is the first time Andrea's #camelia made a #flower outside, maybe it is too cold here? #ya #photography
together with the photo of my girlfriend and me I found an old photo of my mother Eleonore; she must have been around 30 then (early fifties), when I was a baby...
