Former Federal Prosecutor Said Jim Jordan Committed A Federal Felony With His J6 Text Message That’s Punishable By Up To 20 Years In Prison

Several notable Republicans were busted in the recent revelations made by the January 6th House Committee regarding text messages that were sent to Trump’s now-former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows during the infamous Capitol siege. Most reports have seemed to focus on the fact that many of those Republicans — such as Fox’s Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity, as well as Donald Trump’s own son, Don Jr. — were privately begging Meadows to do something to make Trump make it stop. Despite the fact that many of them went on to peddle the Big Lie to the American people in public.

However, not all of the text messages received by Meadows on that day had that panicked, desperate tone. Some of them remained loyal to the cause and were calling on the then Chief of Staff to push Vice President Mike Pence to blatantly ignore the US Constitution and help Donald Trump steal the 2020 presidential election.

One of those text messages came from Jim Jordan. ...

Former Jan. 6 panel chair seeks to strip Secret Service protection from felons

The former chair of the now-disbanded Jan. 6 committee introduced a bill Friday that would strip Secret Service protection of any former executive convicted of a felony — an effort to avoid the complications of incarcerating former President Trump should he be ordered to serve jail time.

Dubbed the “Denying Infinite Security and Government Resources Allocated toward Convicted and Extremely Dishonorable (DISGRACED) Former Protectees Act,” the legislation from Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) would nix the lifelong protection given to former presidents if they are convicted and sentenced for a felony that carries a year or more in prison time. ...

The former Sergeant of the Capitol Police drops bombshell, demands the immediate removal from office of Trumper Congresswomen Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert over their role in the deadly January 6 insurrection

But the former Sergeant didn’t stop there…

The former Capitol Police Sergeant, Aquilino Gonell, who defended the Capitol on January 6, also demanded that Donald Trump himself be indicted for orchestrating the deadly insurrection that sent 138 of his Capitol officers to the hospital — and even led multiple of his officers to commit suicide after their traumatizing experience. Former Sergeant Gonell resigned from his position as Capitol Police Sergeant last year, putting the blame squarely on “the mob and the people who support the former president." Gonell underwent multiple surgeries and extensive medical rehabilitation in order to recover from the injuries that he sustained on January 6 after becoming trapped in a Capitol tunnel and engaging in some of the most brutal fighting of the day in defense of the Capitol.

Trump, Greene, Boebert did the crime — and now it’s time for them to face the music.

...from the globalist perspective, J6 was worse than 9/11 as 9/11 was instrumental in ushering in the Constitution-violating surveillance state required to undermine American sovereignty in pursuit of political globalism.

J6 was an ostensibly non-violent expression of profound dissatisfaction with the Federal political establishment & J6 helped highlight how much Americans have been disenfranchised by globalists who have usurped American organs of state.

Recommendation of criminal charges

The Jan. 6 select committee is preparing to vote on urging the Justice Department to pursue at least three criminal charges against former President Donald Trump, including insurrection.

The report that the select panel is expected to consider on Monday afternoon, described to POLITICO by two people familiar with its contents, reflects some recommendations from a subcommittee that evaluated potential criminal referrals. Among the charges that subcommittee proposes for Trump: 18 U.S.C. 2383, insurrection; 18 U.S.C. 1512(c), obstruction of an official proceeding; and 18 U.S.C. 371, conspiracy to defraud the United States government.
...
DOJ, which is already pursuing a criminal probe of Trump’s Jan. 6-related actions, is not required to consider referrals from Congress, which have no legal weight. However, the select committee plans to act in the hopes that lawmakers’ input can influence prosecutorial decision-making. Panel chair Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) has also raised the possibility of referrals to outside entities like bar associations for the constellation of lawyers involved in election subversion efforts.

Teddy is a massive bitch!

Senator Ted Cruz has revealed he was in a "a supply closet with stacked chairs" during part of the January 6 storming of Congress.

On that day in 2021 hundreds of Donald Trump supporters broke into the Capitol Building in a bid to stop Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election from being certified.

One Trump supporter was shot dead by police and dozens of officers injured in the violence, whilst members of Congress were rushed to an undisclosed secure location on site.

Cruz, who opposed the certification of election results from Arizona, describes the day's events in his new book Justice Corrupted: How the Left Weaponized Our Legal System.

What Julian Assange and Donald Trump Have in Common
They share enemies—and they use similarly nihilistic tactics toward similarly antidemocratic ends.
By George Packer

If it were just dumb luck that landed WikiLeaks in the Trump camp, then the only question would be how Republicans became so unprincipled that they would welcome the political help of avowed enemies of American democracy. But it’s always a mistake to explain Trump’s motives as sheer opportunism. In fact, the lift from WikiLeaks wasn’t dumb luck, and more than self-interest led to the embrace between Trump and Assange. For years, WikiLeaks was considered politically on the left, the darling of Western progressives. Then why did it organize its releases to inflict the greatest damage on Hillary Clinton? Why not go after Trump instead? Or, at least, Trump too? What made WikiLeaks a hero to Fox News and the American right?

also: Documents Reveal New Details in WikiLeaks’ Exchanges with Guccifer 2.0

posting this old article, because as more damning information is uncovered by the J6 Commission, Assange's extradition appears imminent, and the US continues to support Ukraine against Putin's brutal war, I wouldn't be shocked to see some new WL "revelations" about Hunter's Laptop™ as an attempted distraction.

What's Really Stopping a Trump Prosecution?
Hurdles, Real and Imagined

Luppe B. Luppen
Jun 20

On Saturday, in an apparent effort to prick the momentum generated by the January 6th Committee’s recent public hearings, the New York Times published a story headlined “Despite Growing Evidence, a Prosecution of Trump Would Face Challenges.”

The headline, of course, is substantially true. Any prosecution of a powerful, well-resourced person for a serious crime faces challenges, no matter the strength of the evidence arrayed against them, and those challenges grow geometrically when the person in question is a former president who sits at the top of a fanatical mass movement that’s willing to pursue its goals without ethical or legal restraints and that elevates personal fealty to him over adherence to factual reality or a set of pre-agreed rules. Nevertheless, the story is misbegotten, and I think it’s important to understand why.

[T]he paper is asserting that any conceivable offense the federal government might charge Trump with would include a particular knowledge element... This is, not to put too fine a point on it, horseshit.
