#printer

yew@diasp.eu

Hey Hello all you #linux experts... I have a question:

I want an affordable b&w laser #printer for my MX 23.2. Libretto Linux system, based on #Debian
As I am not a terminal guy (too old and just not into it)
I need an installer for it. Which affordable printer can you recommend. I have to buy it, and the setup should be easy.

There is a Chinese brand called [Pantum](https://www.amazon.de/P2502W-Laserdrucker-Monolaser-Schwarz-wei%C3%9F-Drucker-1200x1200dpi/dp/B09SHQPX2V/ref=sr_1_3?crid=26B

One Pantum has drivers, and I want to know if they work on MX Linux?

#3D #printer #nightmare fuel: Bambu X1C and P1P started printing while owners were asleep

source: https://www.theverge.com/2023/8/16/23064592/bambu-print-asleep-cloud-outage

What happened? In an official blog post, #Bambu says itā€™s still investigating but suspects that a #cloud outage is to blame. The company says its servers had two brief outages on Tuesday morning where the servers couldnā€™t confirm that the printers had actually printed ā€” but instead of failing gracefully, they wound up sending the same print job again and again until it went through, Bambuā€™s staff believes.

If all Printers were determinā€™d not to print any thing till they were sure it would offend no body, there would be very little printed.
