On March 3, 2024, at my expense, I had the living room ceiling and wall (pillar) repaired due to a water leak above my apartment.
On March 16, I noticed a stream of water coming down the same wall, and flooding the floor. The ceiling also looks like it's being soaked with water again.
If the water wasn't toxic, I'd make a little container Water Pond below the streaming leak. Water Lilies, plants, rocks...some goldfish....

Hackers Leaks Millions of 23andMe User Details on Dark Web
A threat actor allegedly published 4.1 million genetic data profiles stolen from the DNA testing company 23andMe in dark web forums.
The British Royal Family, wealthy families that support Zionism, and the wealthiest individuals in the United States and Western Europe are among those whose information was disclosed.
The genetic profiles of 23andMe were published on Tuesday by a hacker going by the name Golem on the well-known cybercrime forum BreachForums.
After learning of the breach, the company contacted its customers and reminded them to take extra precautions to keep their accounts and passwords safe.
The saga with

Hackers Using Credential Stuffing Attack
On October 6, 23andMe revealed that hackers had gained access to some user data. The company claimed that the hackers had used credential stuffing, a technique where they tried combinations of usernames or emails and corresponding passwords that were already known as a result of other data breaches, to gather the stolen data.

The company said that when customers reused login information, that is when usernames and passwords used on 23andMe were the same as those used on other websites that had previously been hacked—threat actors were able to access specific accounts.
“Threat actor may have then, in violation of our Terms of Service, accessed 23andMe.com accounts without authorization and obtained information from certain accounts, including information about users’ DNA Relatives profiles, to the extent a user opted into that service”, the company said.
The hacker publishing the stolen information, Golem, seems to have first tried to sell the user details. On Wednesday, he stated: “I would like to remind you that even the data I’m sharing here is extremely valuable.”
On August 11, a hacker posted an advertisement on the Hydra forum for a set of 23andMe user data. According to a TechCrunch study, that collection of user data matched some of the user details exposed two weeks prior.
The hacker stated having 300 gigabytes of 23andMe customer data on Hydra, although the hacker offered no support for this claim.
Hence, the company advised customers to take additional precautions to keep their accounts and passwords safe and stated that they were seeking the help of third-party forensic experts and federal law enforcement officials.
The company requires all customers to change their passwords, and they encourage the usage of multi-factor authentication (MFA).

What Impact did Julian Assange and WikilLeaks have? Time for the News Media to Find Out
https://www.sfchronicle.com/opinion/openforum/article/wikileaks-julian-assange-media-18121343.php
Isn’t it time for the press, which benefited mightily from what it got from WikiLeaks, to do the reporting that would enable the public to judge whether Assange is a traitor or a benefactor?

The #British #media is shamelessly comparing Jack #Texeira ("He loves nature, god and shooting guns") to Edward #Snowden and Chelsea #Manning. You know, that generation of #Americans that #leaks government secrets. Never mind that Snowden and Manning were conscientious #whistleblowers, and Texeira leaked secrets to his online gaming friends, probably to prove himself. I expected more from Channel 4, at least. Ugh.

There is increasing evidence that the leak was not an intelligence operation by a state actor aiming to discredit the US, but more likely the consequence of a Pentagon policy of granting top secret security clearances to huge numbers of service members, civilians and contractors. The number of employees and contractors in the entire US government with top secret clearance is about 1.25 million.

It is Journalism
" #Asking for, #receiving and #publishing #leaks is not #espionage. It is #journalism."
The dangerous precedent being set in #JulianAssange's case is that journalists could be tried as #spies for revealing government wrongdoing and state crimes.

Hacking forum #RaidForums shut down and founder arrested in global #police #operation
The RaidForums #hacker #forum, used by cybercriminals to primarily buy and sell stolen databases, has been shut down and its domains seized by US #law #enforcement as part of an operation coordinated by #Europol that involved law enforcement agencies across numerous countries.
I always thought the police leave the forum open to be informed about #leaks and to #track who buys the data. Now that the forum is closed, the #scene will probably dive deep into the #darknet and be much harder to monitor.

Leaked #Ransomware Docs Show #Conti Helping #Putin From the Shadows
source: https://www.wired.com/story/conti-ransomware-russia/
Days later, Conti’s leaders talked about Cozy Bear’s work and referenced its ransomware attacks. Stern, the CEO-like figure of Conti, and Professor, another senior gang member, talked about setting up a specific office for “government topics.” The details were first reported by WIRED in February but are also included in the wider Conti #leaks. In the same conversation, Stern said they had someone “externally” who paid the group (although it is not stated what for) and discussed taking over targets from the source. “They want a lot about #Covid at the moment,” Professor said to Stern. “The cozy bears are already working their way down the list.”

Ukraine deposed government documents sourced online: http://yanukovychleaks.org
On Feb. 22, volunteer divers found nearly 200 folders of documents at a lake at the residence of former president of Ukraine. They had been thrown in the lake to destroy them as people were escaping the compound.
A group of journalists and activists has undertaken to rescue, systematize and investigate the enormous wealth of information about the former owners of the residence.
The recovered documents are being published on this website to make them available to journalists and citizens around the world.
The investigations based on these documents will also be published here and in Ukrainian media.
The documents are being dried in the former president's sauna at his lakeside dacha, according to comments on Hacker News.
