China BANS Halloween, Mass Arrests in Big Cities (11:22)
(29 October, 2024) Police descended upon #Halloween festivities in #China’s big cities this week to prevent youths from dressing in costumes. Spiderman, Batman, Ninja Turtles, a Fan Bingbing look-a-like, and even a Buddha and a monk were among many who were rounded up by authorities. Even big plush toys were checked to see if they were a humans dressed in cosplay.

10pm and on. Stepping through playlists again, both overwhelmed and unhappy with what to be found. Maybe just always being in too nuanced states of mind to find the right soundtrack for that. Maybe strong focus for too long is leaving one narrow-minded and shallow about things that used to be wider, more open before. Deviating into confusing stories, right at the edge of sleep. (Have a clear and quiet night wherever you are.)
