6 March 1936 | Dutch Jewish boy, Hartog Levie, was born in Amsterdam.

6 März 1936 | Der niederländische jüdische Junge Hartog Levie wurde in Amsterdam geboren.

In November 1943 he was deported to Auschwitz from Westerbork. He was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

Im November 1943 wurde er von Westerbork aus nach Auschwitz deportiert. Nach der Selektion bei der Ankunft wurde er in einer Gaskammer ermordet.

The Mercury-Atlas 6 mission launched #OTD in 1962. John Glenn became the first American to orbit Earth, circling 3 times in the Friendship 7 capsule.John Glenn was skeptical about the computer controlled trajectory, and said he wouldn’t trust it until mathematician Katherine Johnson had checked it by hand.

10 October 1939 | A Polish Jew, Shlomo Arie Hordiner, was born in Rzeszów.

He was deported to Auschwitz from ghetto in Sosnowiec in July 1943. He was murdered in a gas chamber.

Today marks nine years since the Odessa massacre, when pro-Russian civilians were burnt alive by Ukrainian nationalists in the House of Trade Unions, Odessa.

The coverage of the massacre on WikiPedia is truly nauseating! Calling the slaughter of civilians by Azov and other neo-nazis for "2014 Odesa clashes"!

But hey, the world is black and white and this is the war between the good western friendly forces and evil Putin, don't you dare saying otherwise.

On the 27th January 1945 : Soviet-Jewish soldier David Dushman liberated Auschwitz concentration camp by driving his T-35 Soviet tank through the barbed wire electric fence of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in occupied Poland, thereby initiating the liberation of the camp by allowing Red Army ground troops in the 322nd Rifle Division to enter the camp.

After the war he went on to become an Olympic fencer. He passed away at age 98 on June 4th, 2021

The more I read posts from the so called Iranian diaspora and their nauseating garbage analysis of political events, the more upset I get that 43 years after the revolution, there are no intelligent and viable alternative to this regime.

From the lies about death sentence for 1500 people, to celebrating and joking about the murder of a Basij member by raping him in public with his baton, to ridiculous and laughable posts about the reason why the Ukrainian PS 752 was shot down, these shot for brain idiots don't seem to have any clue of what they are writing about.

This is just on of many posts from the telegram channel supposed to be the voice of "Iranian National Council", a made up group with no real leadership or program, but famous for posting fake videos of actions in Iran as well as abroad. But also copying posts from Twitter and Instagram claiming to be theirs.

In this post, the intelligent political analyst of the group claims that the regime shot down the plane intentionally to hide it's fiasco about the loss of it's star IRGC general.

Having forgotten that the sad tragic insident happened the night after Iran sent a barrage of missiles toward the US base in Iraq and the whole country was on high allert, expecting a retaliation from the US military.

I know these idiots are not representative of the people of Iran, but sadly, their channel has 1000s of followers and being used by reporters in Europe and US as a reliable source of what is happening in Iran these days.

On the sad aniversary of the death of 176 innocent people, reading these posts makes more more depressed than I have been in many years.
