Wafa Aludaini, Journalist in Gaza, founder and manager of '16th October Group of Journalists'.Wafa was executed this week, along with two children of hers, and her husband, by an Israeli strike RIP. Only her 9 year old son survived. Gaza Israeli Aggression Martyrdom of our Manager Journalist Wafa Aludaini May Allah accept the Martyrdom of our late manager Wafa Aludaini , who founded our group to spread the truth of Palestine to the world. We are steadfast to keep up her work and to fulfill her dream of a Free Palestine. It is a great loss not only for us but also for the land of Palestine. We call upon our followers to pray and be with us. The Gaza-based 16th October Group is a group of English-language young journalists and activists dedicated on focusing the Western world’s attention to the authentic Palestinian narrative by sharing uncensored voices, and reliably documenting apartheid Israeli occupation crimes, gross violations, and state-sponsored aggressions against defenseless Palestinian people. Our name, 16th October, came from the date on which Judge Richard Goldstone’s landmark UN report was made public, which recognized Israeli occupation assaults during its 2008 aggression on Gaza as war crimes. It remains an inspiring and encouraging date for Palestinians to emphasize the critical importance of addressing the international community, especially the West. It also reminds us of the importance of the Palestinian youth’s defining role in delivering Palestinian voices, making lasting positive change, and building significant connections with international activists and pro-Palestine people to support us during our revolutionary struggle for freedom and national independence. We concentrate our coverage on Israeli occupation crimes, gross violations, and state-sponsored aggressions against the defenseless Palestinian people in their homeland.
Wafa has been giving updates on Gaza for years to this show. Rita has known Wafa for 10 years. War on Gaza: Israel kills journalist and her family in strike on their home Fellow reporters mourn Wafa Aludaini, who was targeted in her home alongside her husband and children An Israeli air strike killed a Palestinian journalist and her family in a direct attack on her home in the central Gaza Strip, local authorities said on Monday. Wafa Aludaini, a prominent English-speaking reporter who worked with international news outlets, died alongside her husband, Mueir Aludaini, and their two children in the overnight attack. She was mourned by many fellow journalists who praised her dedication to bringing the stories of Palestinians to the world. “Aludaini was well-known among European media outlets and conveyed the suffering of our people in English, which she was a master of,” Ahmed Abu Artema, a Palestinian journalist and friend of Aludaini, told Middle East Eye. “The justification for her targeting are her words and work as a journalist,” he added.
