Prison inmates were among the top of the list of groups who were fast tracked to take the experimental covid vaccine.

The narrative was that prisons were a hotbed for the virus to spread back in to the community by staff working in prisons. Therefore they sought out to inject all inmates with these jabs.

In a twist of irony it seems that #prisoners are #being #murdered by those that have locked them up! #vaccinescam

Translation of the press release of Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs' Commission:

The occupation executes a new assassination operation against the prisoner Abdulrahman Al-Bahsh from Nablus in "Megiddo" Prison.

The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs' Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed this evening, Monday, that the occupation prisons administration carried out a new assassination operation against the prisoner Abdulrahman Bassem Al-Bahsh (23 years old) from Nablus in "Megiddo" Prison.

He had been detained since May 31, 2022, and was sentenced to 35 months in prison. Thus, martyr Al-Bahsh becomes the first martyr on the first day of the year 2024, and the seventh martyr in the occupation prisons since October 7, 2023.

This is in addition to several detainees from Gaza, whose martyrdom in "Sidai Timan" camp in Bir Sabi' was reported by the occupation media, without clarifying details about their identities or numbers.

The Commission and the Club said in a joint statement that the assassination crime of the prisoner Abdulrahman Al-Bahsh in "Megiddo" Prison, which was one of the prisons that witnessed horrific crimes and systematic torture of prisoners after October 7, and where three prisoners ascended before prisoner Al-Bahsh, confirms that the occupation is continuing without any deterrent or consideration in carrying out more assassination operations against prisoners and detainees in its prisons, in addition to systematic crimes of torture and abuse, aiming to kill them directly.

The Commission and the Club added that all testimonies transmitted by prisoners released over the past period, as well as testimonies conveyed by lawyers, in addition to testimonies obtained by institutions about detainees who ascended after October 7, confirm that torture and severe beating by the repression units and special units of the occupation army were the direct cause of their martyrdom.

The Commission and the Club stated, "In light of the intensity of crimes that the occupation continues to commit against prisoners in prisons, we hold full responsibility, in addition to the criminal occupation, to all the international powers that continue to support the occupation in continuing genocide against our people in Gaza, and its ongoing comprehensive aggression against our people in all their places of presence, as well as against our prisoners in its prisons."

The Commission and the Club noted that October 7 was not the beginning of the occupation's criminality and brutality, but what is happening is an extension of the occupation's approach and policy against the prisoners. They reminded that the occupation, before October 7, sought to pass and apply the death penalty law against prisoners.

Nevertheless, as specialized parties, we will continue to follow up on the investigations that began regarding the detainees who were martyred after October 7, not because we expect any justice from the occupation's courts, but in an attempt to put an end to this level of ongoing criminality.

The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs' Commission and the Palestinian Prisoners Club called on all international human rights institutions, led by the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross, to reclaim their necessary and required role in the face of these unending crimes, and to press by all means to stop the unprecedented crimes against prisoners in the occupation prisons.

With the ascension of prisoner Abdulrahman Al-Bahsh from Nablus, the number of martyrs of the prisoner movement rises to 244 since 1967.

We remind of the names of the martyrs who ascended after October 7:
Omar Draghmeh from Tubas, Arafat Hamdan from Ramallah, Majed Zaqoul from Gaza, a fourth martyr whose identity is unknown, Abdul Rahman Mar'i from Salfit, Thaer Abu Asab from Qalqilya, and martyr AbdulRahman Al-Bahsh who ascended today.

Israel's evidence for #Hamas rape is a photo of dead Kurdish women

Cochav Elkayam-Levy, the chair of Israel's civil committee investigating Oct 7 rape, has been using at least since Nov 12 (video) a photograph of deceased female Kurdish fighters to portray them as victims of rape by Hamas at the Nova music festival.( #TheGrayzone)

#Mondoweiss reveals it is her Nov 18 interview with #CNN that kicked off the disinformation campaign, echoed by Washington Post and Haaretz. Presenting her as an “expert in human rights”, CNN hid the fact she is the director of the Dvora Institute advising the National Security Council, and she had worked for the International Law Department of the Israeli Attorney-General’s Office. There, she provided a detailed legal manual for forced feeding—an act of #torture used to break the hunger strikes of political #prisoners.

Since then, Elkayam has presented nothing but justifications for the absence of evidence. To this date, there is no evidence.

Just imagine if this was news from #Russia :The Mistreatment of Palestinian #Prisoners in the Israeli judicial system continues.

Since the 7th of October, over 1,460 Palestinians have been arrested for various charges, anywhere from "terrorism" to "social media posts", almost 600 of them are in administrative detention, meaning they do not get lawyers to represent them, they do not know what charge they are being held for, and they are not eligible for a trial so far.

Out of the 1,460, 14 are women, 12 are journalists, and 13 were MPs or were representing Palestinian interests in some way, the situation is quite worse when you count in the detained workers from #Gaza.

"We need your help, Don't let them kill us".

Cry for help from 3 prisoners who's lives are at imminent danger.

The telegram channel of IRGC is furious about the post by Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti posting their letter on her Instagram account that has 100s of thousands of followers in Iran and abroad.
Her Instagram account is protected or deleted and can not be accessed any more (https://www.instagram.com/taraneh_alidoosti/). She may face retribution and prison charges for posting that message as interference with judiciary and religious Judges is counter as treason specially when the case receives such large audience).

(From her Wikipedia page)

Taraneh Alidoosti ( Persian: ترانه عليدوستی; born January 12, 1984) is an Iranian actress. She is best known internationally for her role in The Salesman (2016), which won the Best Foreign Language Film Award at the 89th Academy Awards.

They are also angry at the judiciary and management of the prison for certifying the letter and allowing it to be sent out "to be used by anti revolutionary forces inside and outside Iran" as they said it.

The 3 were accused of participating in a violent protest that led to the death of some police and Basij members and IRI claims they have undeniable evidence that proves their direct involvement in the attacks that led to their death.

Their lawyers have denied the charges and question the evidence as insufficient and questionable and also claim that many of the reports from other members of the police were fabricated and unreliable.

Just a few days away! December 1:

Write to those imprisoned around the world for refusing to take up arms
Messages of solidarity for conscientious objectors!

Prisoners for Peace list, November 2022

1st December is #Prisoners for #Peace Day. For over 60 years, War Resisters' International have, on this day, made known the names and stories of those imprisoned because of their actions for peace. Many are #ConscientiousObjectors, in gaol for refusing to join the #military. Others have taken #nonviolent actions to disrupt preparation for #war.

This day is a chance for you to demonstrate your #support for those individuals and their movements, by #writing to those whose #freedom has been taken away from them because of their work for peace.

December 1st - A Day to Write To Prisoners!

Prisoners for Peace Day

December 1st is Prisoners for Peace Day. On this day (and every day) we encourage you to show #solidarity with the #activists and #ConscientiousObjectors imprisoned due to their #peace work and their refusal to take #arms and perform #military service.

This year we want to highlight and denounce how countries like #Singapore, the Republic of #Korea, #Eritrea and #Tajikistan continues to prosecute and imprison conscientious objectors.

Find a list of #prisoners for peace here, download the list here or below.

As we get closer to this day, what can you do?
We have been told repeatedly by people who have been sent messages of solidarity while in #prison, either via #letters or solidarity actions, that the moral support of like-minded people has been invaluable. Your solidarity is crucial to remind the #imprisoned refusers and peace activists that they are not alone and that we are aware of the significance of their #resistance. On this day,

  • Join many others from across the world and write to those imprisoned for their peace work and conscientious objection.
  • Encourage your friends, peace group, student, faith or community group to organise a card-writing session (online, or if the Covid-19 regulations allow, physical).
  • Help us spread the word on social media. Use the hashtag #PfPday21 and post your messages of solidarity with prisoners for peace on social media, and invite others to write to those in #jail.

If you have details of other prisoners for peace not yet listed, please write to info@wri-irg.org.
