11am elsewhere. Other cities other concrete other bridges other rivers. The wall of trees is not what it seems, and the houses behind seem to hide in a green more and more turning grey. Closed doors, strong fences, gardens filled with rocks instead of bushes. The effects of living close to wide roads, perhaps.
10pm, steamy bathroom windows, a distant street just a line of lights surrounded by halos in hazy rain. Water dripping, drumming on metal roofs, no wind but the scent of woods and meadows even stronger than during the rest of the day. Always just a thin line between wake perception and confusing dreams. Not sure whether darkness has a different shape in other parts of the world. Have a quiet night wherever you are!

Spätfrühes Erwachen, mitten in der Woche. Lang schon im Halbschlaf, kurz vorher nochmal weggedöst, entsprechend zerknittert. Orientierungsphase, gepackte Tasche, Wasser ins Gesicht, Frühstück irgendwo unterwegs, Kaffee auch. Andere Wege, Erwartungen, andere Bilder. Und die vertraute Nervosität jedes Aufbruchs. Habt es mild heute!
6pm again. Chatter faces. Pale indifferent colours of an untimely summer. Real view mirror, hills slowly disappearing. Roadside concrete, few strong bushes in the bridges shadows. Transit Country.

“This is a community experiencing a lot of growth. People here deserve access to good transit, too,” Buttigieg told WJCL 22. “What the local transit agency is doing is really innovative and using new technology.”
Buttigieg is celebrating success in what's called "micro transit." Think about it like a public Uber; there is no route, it goes where you need to.

The #Baltic state allows 100 trains a month carrying Russian passengers to #transit to and from the exclave of #Kaliningrad under a special arrangement between #Lithuania, the European Union and #Russia.

The new #exhibition of 24 #photos has been set up on the #platform used by the transit trains, with the images placed at the height of the carriage windows. "Today, Putin is killing the peaceful population of Ukraine. Do you approve of this?," read the inscription on some of the pictures exhibited.
One thing we can do here is build walls! This is part of the new light #rail line in the south of #Ottawa, or will be if it ever gets completed. Just announced today that it is now a whole year behind schedule.
