have been enjoying the #SpaceBusters channel, on Bitchute, for years and found that our guest, Steve Falconer, and his partner in crime, Ross, had the best documentaries that were both jovial and informative. There's a reality that emerges when you stare at actuaries all day:).

In this cast we touch on everything from #gliding #jets to the #electrical #Grid.

Steve has such a well rounded perspective that dismantles the Meta/Macro narratives that have been purported through Prussian schooling. Sit back and enjoy the grandiose ladle of gravy from this well traveled musician.

#Technical #Presentation: WBAN on a 6gloPAN and your #electromagnetic #body part

This presentation is for folks who do not understand how their body has already been made commercially available to the cloud since 2005. IEEE is the International standards for Electronics and #Electrical #Engineering. You will find your body on the #web and commercially accessible via the same #wireless working groups for all wireless #devices. #How did it happen? How can you gain access to the biosensors that are magnetically routing the data instead of your lunch in your red blood cells? (folks, this one is for you and while it is not my a game, i give myself a b and if you want me to include anything please let me know. I am currently working on signs for the literal math from a to b so people can understand #energy harvesting.

Is there any people here on the #Fediverse that have deep knowledge of DC #excitation systems for #synchronous machines, so #powerelectronics, for machines that have field current up to a few thousand ampere?
This is about #eletronic, but the kind with higher voltage and "real" current like in #thermalpowerplants, but preferable in #hydropower plants, mainly for #generator in such setups, but it can also be synchronous #motors, both up to 1.5 GW (most likely a generator then 😀.

So #electrical engineers or masters of that profession that work with high current applications.

Resonance in Red Sprites…

Beware, they may be coming… ...Or not!
Thoooose are “Red Sprites”, large-scale electric discharges that occur high above thunderstorm clouds, or cumulonimbus, giving rise to a varied range of visual shapes flickering in the night sky. Nature in its grand majestic splendor!!! Shine!

I got a #technical or better an #electrical #question, when one needs to work on the #stator output of an emergency diesel with 2.4MVA, it is necessary to to fit grounding equipment and lock out all #energy sources. Lets say there is no space to connect the grounding equipment properly, would it be sufficient to lock out the starter of the diesel #engine and also lock out the excitation. Both measures ensure that the #machine can not be started and can not be excited.

For a Christmas present, I'm looking for a book on #ElectricVehicles for my 16-year-old nephew. It needs to be an introductory/beginner level for someone who aspires to being a hands-on #EV #mechanic. He's very mechanically-minded and practical, with an interest in #electrical and #electronic systems (maybe towards robotics) but isn't expected (yet!) to get necessary grades in foundational subjects to be accepted on elecrtical/electronics courses at college.

The best I found so far is Electric Vehicle Engineering but I fear it is a bit too academic for what he needs, and it's rather expensive to buy unless I was completely sure it's right for him. Everything else I've found has been badly-written, or outdated, or very advanced, or really dry and dull.

It's a long shot, but does anyone out there have any suggestions?
