#GitLab elige #AlmaLinux como reemplazo de #CentOS

enter image description here

enter image description here

#ORPort 443 NoListen
#ORPort 127.0.0.1:9090 NoAdvertise

## The IP address or full DNS name for incoming connections to your

##
## Look at https://www.torproject.org/faq-abuse.html#TypicalAbuses
## for issues you might encounter if you use the default exit policy.
##
## If certain IPs and ports are blocked externally, e.g. by your firewall,
## you should update your exit policy to reflect this -- otherwise Tor
## users will be told that those destinations are down.
##
## For security, by default Tor rejects connections to private (local)
## networks, including to your public IP address. See the man page entry
## for ExitPolicyRejectPrivate if you want to allow "exit enclaving".
##
#ExitPolicy accept *:6660-6667,reject *:* # allow irc ports but no more
#ExitPolicy accept *:119 # accept nntp as well as default exit policy
<span style="color: #ff6600;">ExitPolicy reject *:*</span> # no exits allowed

## Bridge relays (or "bridges") are Tor relays that aren't listed in the
## main directory. Since there is no complete public list of them, even an
## ISP that filters connections to all the known Tor relays probably
## won't be able to block all the bridges. Also, websites won't treat you
## differently because they won't know you're running Tor. If you can
## be a real relay, please do; but if not, be a bridge!
<span style="color: #ff6600;">BridgeRelay 1</span>
## By default, Tor will advertise your bridge to users through various
## mechanisms like <a href="https://bridges.torproject.org/">https://bridges.torproject.org/</a>. If you want to run
## a private bridge, for example because you'll give out your bridge
## address manually to your friends, uncomment this line:

The software quality will probably get worse and worse & maybe Firefox will disappear completely. Why? two reasons. Mozilla (the company/foundation behind Firefox) had a contract with Google, Mozilla will participate in advertising revenues if Google becomes the homepage of Firefox. probably Google has also copied a lot from Mozilla and “copied” it into its own Chrome browser.

Betrayed and sold: Yes, also corrupt women exist:

  • The head of the Mozilla Foundation Mrs Baker, has allowed herself constant salary increases (to ~ $ 2.5 million per year), at the same time Firefox has massively lost market share to Google Chrome
  • She PROBABLY has a secret deal with Google, as soon as Mozilla has died, She can switch to Google in the executive floor
    • that’s aprox what happened before the sale of NOKIA to Microsoft (the CEO ruined the company to MS can buy it cheap)
    • Mozilla had to lay off many developers
      • In 2018 she received a total of $2,458,350 in compensation from Mozilla, which represents a 400% payrise since 2008.[14]
      • On the same period, Firefox marketshare was down 85%.
      • When asked about her salary she stated “I learned that my pay was about an 80% discount to market. Meaning that competitive roles elsewhere were paying about 5 times as much. That’s too big a discount to ask people and their families to commit to.” (src: Wikipedia)

#Finnix, un sistema de rescate que te puede interesar conocer

enter image description here

Human Space Travel to Moon and Mars - one more step for mankind - Reusable Renewable Rockets are the way to the Space future

one more step for mankind

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemis_program

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artemis_program

IN NO WAY shall the accomplishments of the year 1969 be belittled, OR the Space Shuttle ($1.5 billion per flight), but imho what is happening NOW at NASA is a complete waste of money.

NASA has run out of Saturn V.

Instead of designing a re-usable rocket from scratch, they build a Saturn V like rocket called SLS (with 1990s parts) that is supposed to take people to Moon and Mars for “only” $2billion per launch.

NASA MUST BE KIDDING!

This catastrophic waste of taxpayers money can be explained in one sentence: “Trump’s controversial NASA chief, Jim Bridenstine, narrowly confirmed”

Estimates are that a Starship flight will be ~$2Million per launch.

At the same time there is pressure & lobbying going on from Boing & others to not give SpaceX the whole pie of money for future space missions 🙈

https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/as-artemis-moves-forward-nasa-picks-spacex-to-land-next-americans-on-moon

What is ESA doing on this topic?

https://orbitaltoday.com/2021/05/31/esa-works-on-reusable-rocket-technology-to-follow-in-the-footsteps-of-rocket-lab/

nationalism & political fallout: So every country needs it’s own space station now?

Just to proof a point “because we can, if we throw a lot of money and resources at it”. Well, yes every country could do that then, but does it make sense? Can not a lot of money be saved by working together?

China already has it’s own space station in orbit, usually manned by three persons.

The ISS came into trouble, because Russia’s space agency Roscosmos supplied boost to the ISS via Soyuz to keep it up in orbit.

Without regular boosts, the ISS is designed to “deorbit” (break down and dissolve in a fiery melt down in Earth’s atmosphere).

Next to supply & person transport, SpaceX could take over that task too. (any craft with fuel left over)

“The (ISS) station was formed after a Russian space module joined with an American module in 1998.”

Another milestone in ending the cold war 1.0 and coming to a (more or less) peacefull cooperation between the two rivaling countries.

“Construction was completed in 2011”

https://whoisinspace.com/

https://whoisinspace.com/

“According to NASA’s report in July 2020, a total of 242 individuals from 19 different countries have managed to travel to the ISS” (src: republicworld.com)

“But the station will require fuel and maintenance to continue operations. In December 2021, the Biden administration announced it would continue ISS cooperation through 2030.”

“Private companies like Axiom Space and Blue Origin are currently developing their own replacement stations, and Roscosmos plans to launch its own station in 2025. The Indian Space Research Organization indicated in 2019 that it may skip the ISS entirely, with plans to launch a 20-tonne space station.” (src: inverse.com)

cool & tested GNU Linux software - excellent Jajuk Music Player for large libraries - re-discover your Music collection

mocplayer has become the default player:

https://dwaves.de/2020/09/05/gnu-debian-linux-install-and-autostart-play-music-from-command-line-with-mocp-mocplayer-musicplayer-music-on-console-play-music-without-gui-without-desktop-hotkeys-shortcuts-shortcuts-ho/

being written in C it is extremely resource efficient, being a terminal based GUI it is actually possible to ssh into the box that is playing the music, and change tracks “remotely”. NOICE!

BUT…. if you happen to have a large music library collection?

It seems that VLC AND MOCP are great piece of software, BUT they do not really shuffle that music.

They do not shuffle through all the songs in all sub sub sub directory with an obscure names and thus some songs won’t show up on the playlist and things get repetative fast.

Try jajuk! And rediscover your Music library!

<span style="color: #00ffff;">lsb_release -a</span>; # tesetd on
Description: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)

and discover the gems in your song library that you totally missed out by constantly listening to your favourite playlist…

The user can tag a favorite song with a ⭐

https://www.jajuk.info/

  1. on newer Debian just manually download the latest release.tar.gz
  2. unpack:
    • tar fxvz jajuk-linux-11.0.tar.gz
    • start it from command line like this:
      • <span style="color: #00ffff;">./jajuk</span>
    • install mozo + java if not already:
    • <span style="color: #00ffff;">su - root; apt install <a href="https://dwaves.de/2016/10/10/gnu-linux-debian-gnome2-mate-desktop-how-to-modify-menu-menumanager-mozo/" style="color: #00ffff;">mozo</a> java-common</span> - and add an entry to “start” menu: - - should do the job

(in older Debian, this used to work it used to be part of the package libraryhttps://packages.debian.org/stretch/jajuk but was removed for whatever reason)

  1. first launch, it will ask for path to music library, let it search the media

listen to music how you want to listen to it… not how apple thinks, to sell more stuff. (R.I.P. Steve Jobs mad and angry creative genious of design and innovation)

… it automatically downloads album covers, the gui takes a little time to get used to.

being a Java based program, YES it needs some resources (CPU + RAM)

but it is worth it. (really finds all music in the deepest of directories, unlike VLC)

jajuk devices jajuk devices configure jajuk disable scan

have fun!

rock on! 🙂

how to setup basic LAMP stack GNU Linux Debian 11 - (Apache2 php8.1 MariaDB) (how to install xdebug - step debugging php requests in eclipse (LAMP web development stack))

the possibility to step (!) debug requests, as they appear on the server is a neat feature.

what is btw excellent done is this “Open Source project funding and progress status page”:

so every user can see, what is the progress “where is it hanging” of the software project, is it a lack of funding?

suggestion: what still missing a “still todo” todo list, where user’s can post suggestions and vote on features 🙂
